It took some time for Sky to calm down. Was that kid delusional or just hard of hearing? Either way, there was no way she was joining that cause any time soon; even if she thought it was a good idea (which it wasn't) there was way too much that could go wrong and their recruiter had too much anger built up inside her. It was going to lead to something bad.
Consumed in her own thoughts, she didn't notice the person come and leave, and then someone else stroll in. When she turned around, intending to leave, she saw a guy walking and looking at the tombstones. It almost looked like he was searching for a specific one, the way he would stop and read and keep going.
Not intending to she watched him, and finally sauntered over. "If you're looking for a specific one, I could help you. I have... an affinity for it, I guess you could say."
He jumped back from the tombstone he was at when she spoke, nearly falling onto a cross in the next row. Luckily he caught himself in time, where he took a breath as he saw the girl who spoke. Normally this girl wouldn't have snuck up on him, but he was not listening to thoughts other than his own when she arrived. The girl was fairly pretty, and although slightly older, this was the person closest to his age he had ever encountered. "Sorry for that, I just didn't see you there." He looked back at the tombstone and dusted himself off. "I'm not looking for a specific one here, just paying my respects to the spirits that have passed, hoping their afterlife is somewhat happier than the life we face here." Finishing his sentence, he turned and looked back at her, waiting for her to respond, and at the same time trying to learn more about her

While surprised that she managed to catch him off guard (she wasn't trying to be sneaky, after all), she didn't make any comment other than, "I snuck up on you; I should be apologizing." After all, what was a proper way of responding to that? Anything else would have been rude, in her eyes, and this stranger had done nothing to wrong her.
His words provoked images of a black and white world, grey figures moving throughout it. If that was the afterlife, well, it looked pretty bland to her. But then again, Sky wasn't one of them, and many weren't fond of talking about their deaths or whatever beyond there was. "I can only hope so too," she said, a sad note in her tone despite her trying to banish the images.
Immediately he could tell that he had found another supernatural, like Claw and himself. The images were of those who have died, he could very well tell, but into the topic of such he didn't delve. "You don't have to hide your skills with me. I can see through your thoughts who you are, I know you are like me, different than others." He spoke quietly, a safety precaution he had taken since his meeting with Claw and what he had learned through her.
One thought had crossed his mind upon learning about her skill though, and it troubled him dearly. What if she could see the old man...he banished the thought immediately. Meeting him again could have consequences that he would never be able to plan for. Rather he let himself ask another question of her. "Do the spirits appreciate me doing this..? I just wanted to give them the respect that they deserve, I was hoping they would like it..."

He could... read her mind. Oh. Her eyes widened, her face paled, and she wondered just how much she actually thinks about without realizing it. And how much of that is extremely embarrassing. Skyler shifted, looking away from him and to the tombstone he had been looking at when she walked up, as if that would somehow hide her frantic thoughts and fears.
Deciding not to focus on those thoughts if just to be courteous to the guy snooping in on her thoughts, she cleared her throat a bit. "I'm not exactly sure if they appreciate it. I mean, I could check and try talking to one of them, but none of them really like talking about their... deaths. Not that any of the ones here have been extremely talkative towards me; I think they're still getting used to the idea there's a necromancer in the area." A chuckle escaped her, but it seemed pretty dry and humorless, even to her own ears.
"So what are you, exactly?" she asked, eager to get the topic off her own abilities. Not that she was ashamed of them; it just seemed odd to be talking to someone about them so openly. Not that she'd ever really met anyone who would understand or would even pretend to care.
To see her shyness alongside her discomfort surrounding the question and his observation of her abilities, Seamus knew that she had no one that she was close enough to where she could freely talk about anything. Seamus had the problem of no close friends, but in his training he didn't learn that it was a sin or a burden to have these different talents. For embarrassing her, he felt sorry, and he felt worse about snooping into her thoughts.
"Sorry about that...it happens naturally...and I haven't yet learn societal norms." He glanced back at the girl, having looked away once he had seen how embarrassed she was. "I am Seamus, and what the man who fathered me said is that I am a light angel. Not sure entirely what that means, I just know I can control objects, read minds, and have these..." He checked the surrounding area for others before letting his wings unveil themselves from the prison that was his shirt. "You're the third person I've met so far in my entire life, so sorry if I seem blunt..." A light chuckle emanated from his vocal cords, hoping that it would lighten the mood.

She shook her head, brushing off his apology. "No, you're fine. I panic about almost everything. Socialization enough is hard for me, but the mind reading is a new trick." He could probably tell she was still uneasy and embarrassed, but as long as he didn't keep apologizing she would be fine. How many times had that been? The second time in less than ten minutes? Yeah, that was going to get really old really fast if he kept it up.
When he unveiled his wings she looked in awe, eyes growing wide again. Sky started to reach out to touch one, but then caught herself and stuffed her hands in her pockets to get rid of the urge. She did not need to be touching some person she met in a cemetery who actually seemed decent. Well, more than decent compared to the last supernatural creature she'd met.
"I like blunt. Blunt is good," she assured him. The last thing she wanted him to do was treat her like some delicate flower who couldn't handle anything. "I'm Skyler. Just call me Sky. If you want, I mean." Oh god, she was making herself look like a fool, wasn't she? She wanted to slap herself, but that would look even odder, even for someone who was known to walk around in sunglasses having a conversation with no one.
"Angel? What are you doing here? I mean, you're welcome to go absolutely wherever you want, but don't angels... do stuff?" Yup, she definitely sounded like a fool. Good job, Skyler. Meet a decent supernatural. Creep him out with inability to have a decent conversation. Not to mention showing and thinking of every doubt ever. After taking a deep breath to try to calm herself down, she said, "You know, you don't have to answer that. It's probably a really stupid question."
The reading of her mind almost got him in trouble again, as he opened his mind to apologize for apologizing. Realizing how redundant that was however, he shut his mouth and regathered his thoughts. The mind reading, once a useful feature, was proving to be an annoying tool as viewed by others.
However the wings were a different story. He didn't have to read her mind to see that she was obviously amazed by the wings. For anyone wasn't used to seeing a rather normal looking human with wings, this would be an expected reaction. Inside of his mind, he chuckled as her thoughts became more scattered, because he wasn't sure what this meant. From what he knew though, typically this is good as long as the person is semi stable. Going back to the wings, Seamus went ahead and turned, then stretched the wing out to her so she could feel it. He knew that he would want too if the two were switched.
"I think I will call you Sky, reminds me of a lot of things that..." Now it was his turn to realize that he was looking like a fool. Here he was talking about some random things that she had no idea about. "Yeah, I'll go with Sky."
Then the question of his being came up, and why he was here. In total honesty he wasn't sure much about his race, his family, or really much more than what the old man taught him. So he shared exactly that, "well, from what I was taught, Angels can reside in which realm they choose. I don't know what happened to my parents, or who they even were, or what they did while here. All I know is that I was born here and I never left. Apparently only certain Angels are to do the religious work. As for me and others such as I...well I guess we are just to live as normal humans but blessed." Or cursed as his powers were proving to show again and again. She was a pretty neat person herself, a lot more stable than Claw earlier, but also a lot more shy. Their conversations, Seamus observed, would be very interesting indeed.

She took him moving his wings closer as an invitation to touch. Well, she certainly wasn't going to let that opportunity slide; still slightly hesitant, she reached out and ran a finger down it, trying to remember what it reminded her of. Feathers would be obvious, but they felt... different from feathers. If that even made sense. Her thoughts kept her from hearing him until he declared that Sky was good and she twitched away, knowing that if she kept up her examination of his wings, she wouldn't be listening and then all sorts of awkward would happen.
His explanation made sense, at least to her. She was never an overly religious person nor had she been raised in a religious household, so she didn't know what religious work involved but figured it would be important. "What do you plan to do with your blessed life?" Her lips twitched in the start of a smile. "Not that I'm asking for specifics or anything. There just has to be something you want to do that a normal person couldn't, though."
As her fingers carressed the soft feathers of his wings, Seamus smiled and relaxed. The touch of another person felt surprisingly...good. He hadn't felt this sensation before, but it was sure nice. Judging my the looks of Sky as she felt them, it seemed she enjoyed it as well. Awkward just seemed to be a consistent state in the two's interactions. Not necessarily a bad thing he thought, could just make things more fun.
Life though made no thing last long, especially serenity. What to do with his life was ultimately a question he had never thought over, never planned for, and certainly never expected. Needless to say, he was unsure of how to answer this question. "To be truthful," he began, "I have absolutely no idea. I was just focused on trying to make some friends at the moment. What about you?" By shifting the focus of the attention, he was hoping that she wouldn't see him as weak or confused.

She wasn't overly surprised he threw her own question back at her, but it still caught her off guard. He obviously hadn't thought much of it, and truth be told, she hadn't either. Not that she had to think about it; Sky lived a normal human life, for the most part. She had all the time in the world to think of what she wanted to do.
Skyler opened her mouth to say that, but then realized he'd probably already heard her thoughts and quickly shut her mouth. Well, that was one method of communication. It was still odd, though. "You ever hate being able to read minds?"
Seamus just had to stop and chuckle a bit. Sky was getting the same humor out of this as he was. It made the talk, or rather, thought process, even more friendly. Her thoughts though gave him an idea, and perhaps subconsciously she was thinking of it too. Well, it was worth a shot anyway.
Instead of speaking through his voice, he decided to use the other part of his ability to hear thoughts. Well, I guess I never had really gotten the chance to figure it out. Since you are the third person I've ever known, I have never been able to gauge people's or I's reactions to it. It seems to freak you guys out more than I realize. Hopefully the ability to speak into her mind wouldn't freak her out too much

She knew he was talking; she could hear him. Halfway through she lifted her head up, ready to send a wry joke his way, but then noticed that he wasn't moving. Or, rather, he wasn't... talking. Well, talking talking, since he was communicating. Oh bother, she was just confusing herself again. That was happening a little too often for her liking.
"That would actually be really handy," Sky said, though she knew she'd never want to be able to read minds. She had enough problems with her own; she didn't want to know what other people were dealing with. "Once you head into the city, though, I'd watch out. Some thoughts you might just... well, you might not want to know what some people think about."
He shrugged lightly and went back to talking normally as to not freak her out as much. "I'm truthfully not to worried about other peoples thoughts. Even if I couldn't hear their thoughts, they would soon show or say them anyway." He took a seat on the ground, folding up his wings and looking up at her

One eyebrow raised slight as she looked down at him. "Imagine everything you think about, open and up for grabs to anyone who may be listening. The good, the bad, the embarrassing." She shrugged. "I wouldn't like listening. Some people think of some really weird stuff." She sat down, folding her legs and drawing them close to herself.
"Sorry, not trying to change your opinion or anything. Just... giving you the opinion of someone who can't read minds." An uneasy smile tugged at her lips. If she'd offended him with that little speech, it wasn't intended. But then, he would probably know that.
