Nova. A curious name for any sort of civilization, especially when Nova translates to no go in Spanish. But after living alone for three years in the burnt out ruins of some long forgotten city, perhaps no go would be a good start.
Despite Nova being in his mind, the city itself was still miles away. While he did seek friends, Seamus hadn't interacted with another being in three years. His language was rusty, and his appearance show that no one had seen what he wore before and commented. This tall grass meadow though...this place was calm, unmolested, and friendly to his being.
The long waves of the grass and wheat ran at his legs, brushing them with the light breezes. His sword remained in it's hilt, and the rough jeans and button shirt protected him from the outside environment. People was all that this place lacked.
Little did he know of the events in Nova. The interactions between human and creature. All on top of this, his only interactions with people had been friendly and kind. Seamus knew little of evil and hate which would become his ultimate downfall.

Claw watched from high above in a tree. This person didn't really seem human, especially with the sword, but she kind of hoped so. She also kind of hoped he wasn't. She was in the mood for a hunt, her eyes were red, pupils slits, and her tail was swishing back and forth. She watched him from above, looking for any sign that he was or wasn't human.
The twelve year old mind was so interesting to him. Seamus could pick up on her thoughts even though she rested in the tree on the far edge of the plains, two hundred yards from where he stood. He honestly hated being looked at as a snack or a toy, but the maturity of the thoughts this girl had impressed him nethertheless. No matter which case of these, he wasn't a pawn of any mortal. "Alright," he called out, guessing she hadn't known yet her mind was an open book to him, "come on out, no games today."
Well he obviously wasn't human, she sighed, both disappointing and relieved. She jumped out from the tree, her wings spread, and glided down from the tree. "Well, I'm guessing your not human, are you."
A light smile came from his lips, and in the process of turning around to face her, he spread his own wings for her to see. "I guess by literal definitions I am not." The wings shimmered in the light, as they were pure white. The feathers fluttered in the breeze in the smallest of movements. Upon her landing and arrival, Seamus dipped down and took a bow. "My name is Seamus, sorry for having to ruin your fun earlier."
Claw raised an eyebrow, smiling. "No need to be formal here, just talking." she grinned, her eyes returning to their normal color, "So what do you think about humans?" she asked casually.
The question striked him as rather odd, but in any case as the question was asked, he should respectfully reply. "Well, considering the fact that I was raised by one, and that I believe most mortals are good, adding that I care for whoever is in need; I'd have to say they do not bother me. They obviously have their flaws, but I have mine, and from what I am aware they deserve no more nor no less than I. Why do you ask?" He was able to tell that she had an another motive to asking, but because she was not thinking of this at the time, he could not read her mind and find out.
Claw frowned, this one was strangely attached to these creatures. "You do realize what they're doing to use right? Locking us away for no good reason. If they found out what you were they would try to catch you and lock you away for the rest of your life unless you agreed to accept their lies. I don't see how you could respect those who would do that."
As a common response of the brain; while she spoke of her thoughts of the humans, certain memories of how they had treated those who were not human also came to her mind, enlightening him on her perspective of the species. "Two different backgrounds I see. I grew up with an old man for 15 years, and he taught me everything I know now about myself, life, and the outside world. And I could tell that at no point did he intend for me harm." He placed his arms behind his back, grabbing the forearm with the other hand as he walked over and continued talking. "But here, obviously this race acts more...rashly. But perhaps certain circumstances provoke this?" Unable to know for sure the answer to this question, for Claw had not thought of it yet.
Stopping his speech, his arms dropped to his sides before sliding his hands into his pockets. "Sorry for the formality, it was how I was raised."
"Well, people are getting murdered here, but it's the humans that are doing most of it, if not all of it." Claw said, "But they blame us because they hate us, they hate us because we're different. They think they're better then us just because they're just the same as everybody else." Claw thought back to her plan, trying to decide how to persuade this guy to join.
He chuckled slightly and shook his head. "My dear you should really stop trying to think. I know now what you want me to do, and there isn't a reason that you shall persuade me with. Every time you think I can see what you want, so you gave yourself up." Though his words may be not what she wanted to hear, he spoke in the way that put the lightest feeling into the words. "When you get older, perhaps this search for vengeance will end. Took me three years to find that out for myself."
"Understand, " Claw growled, "you doubt what I understand." She was getting tired of people telling her that or thinking she was to young. She spread her wings you completely. "See these," she said, moving her wings a couple times. "My wingspan is exactly 12 feet wide, and I am 5 feet tall, I know this because I own a measuring tape." She pointed up at a bird as it flew past, a tiny little sparrow. "That sparrows wingspan is about 20 centimeters wide, and that sparrow is about 12 centimeters tall. I know this because I've seen them, and I've estimated their size. Now, for something that tall to be carried by a wingspan that wide, they would have to be lighter then they appeared from the outside, I know this because I know that a feather would be carried by the wind much easier then a bowling ball, so that's why they can do without there wingspan being more then twice as large as they are. I know that the reason that sparrow is lighter then it appears is because I've heard people say it has hollow bones, so I know I was right with my theory that sparrows are lighter then they appear. Now my wingspan to body ratio would still not work if I was as heavy as I appeared even though my wingspan is more then twice my height, so I know that there has to be something that is making me lighter then I appear. I know my bones aren't hollow because if they were, they would break much easier, so there has to be something that's making me lighter, and that's where the supernatural stuff comes in. And just remember I've never been to school before, I raised myself with no one to teach me anything, and I live by myself with no one to tell me if what I think is right or wrong, so don't question my intelligence or understanding just based on my age ever again okay, because If you do, I would be more then tempted to rip your throat out." she said, her claws unleashed.
He nodded throughout her speech, agreeing to multiple parts of her speech. At no point did he seem frightened, and never did he reach for a weapon. "The supernatural world adds much to an equation that many scientists will never be able to comprehend. And you are certainly learned, for that I am impressed greatly. I never said you were too young for that. But a person as learned as you would also know that for the body, supernatural or mortal, hormones during growth can lead to irrational thoughts and actions, and these continue until about the age of 21. It has also been reported that those who are blessed, or cursed as we may have it, these effects are amplified. All I am saying is that maybe violence isn't the solution. You're the second being I've ever met, I was hoping that we could be a little closer to friends?" He smiled slightly, and though he knew she wouldn't accept his logic at the current time, he wanted her to know it. Hopefully, he thought, she would put this aside so they could actually get to know each other, and have her bring him to the civilized area.
Claw smiled a little, at least this would be part of her plan. They would at least look out for each other. "Okay," she said, "friends." She sighed. She didn't know what to do if he found out about her..violence. She thought carefully, making sure not to imply that she was killing or hurting anybody. She just couldn't help being violent, it was her nature, and without it, she didn't know where she would be.
Though the sigh seemed counter to the happiness found in friendships, it was still a good feeling to know that he had made a new friend. "This is excellent to hear, I am very excited, though I must ask, what is your name? I can understand your thoughts towards humans, but I have little idea of your name." He smiled slightly, and much more relaxed than he was when he first noticed her.
