Nicknames: She goes by Fabri, but any variation of her name can be tried. She’s not fond of Fabrianne at all. She goes by ‘Anne’ at the café and for legal purposes, because she’s pretty sure her brother can track a nickname like Fabri.

Gender: Female
Weapon(s): She’ll use whatever she can find. She likes to use her basketball as a weapon.
Monster/Power: She’s a gifted, and her gift is to read minds. It’s what saved her from being taken to jail with the rest of her family. Her ability isn’t universal—she can’t hear everyone’s thoughts all the time. She has to concentrate. So it’s not as though you can’t surprise her, not unless she’s pensive and focusing on reading the minds of anyone around her. She can also only read one mind at a time.

Secrets:
- She keeps her chocolate allergy a secret, she doubts working at a café with the allergy is good.
- Why she bounces between the names Fabri and Anne, she doesn’t tell anyone about brother dearest.
Strengths:
- First aid. Being a klutz, she realized quickly how to tend to her own basic injuries.
- Getting right back up on her feet if she’s betrayed or injured.
Weaknesses:
- being isolated/alone/having no one on her side
- Allergic to chocolate (only consuming it, smelling and handling it is fine)
- People crying. In a normal circumstance,e she’s a horrible comforter. In a battle circumstance, the distraction of someone crying or even being a bystander makes it much more difficult for her to focus.
- Defending people other than herself against someone stronger than her
- Human limitations. Her ability doesn’t give her strength or speed. That was built through her athletic lifestyle. She is only human.
Fears:
- Her brother finding her
- Hearing the rest of her family was killed
- And, of course the cliché, falling in love. Although she wants to, she’s scared of it, scared of any guy she goes after turning her in like her brother did to her family.
Personality:
- Reckless – A lot of times, Fabri will jump into situations prematurely. Maybe it’s her own way of apologizing for backing down when her family was arrested. Either way, Fabri can quite easily get herself roped into troublesome situations, and occasionally she will bite off more than she can chew.
- Resourceful – Fabri has always been able to use her surroundings to her advantage. She’s adaptable to change, and she’s good at seizing every opportunity thrown at her.
- Quick witted – Fabri’s got a very sharp tongue. Even if she isn’t really sarcastic, she’s witty. She’ll think of things to do to get out of a tight spot. She’ll try anything. She thinks outside the box,
- Brave – Almost foolishly so. Most of the time, Fabri displays a cocky ‘nothing can hurt me’ attitude. She’ll jump into any situation first, and consider the consequences after. If she ever gets scared, she doesn’t say it.
- Naive – Fabri believes everyone has some shred in humanity left in them, something she can appeal to. She believes that the world can change for the better. That someday, the non-gifted will realize that the gifted aren’t universally responsible for the murders happening in Nova City. She’s an optimist about most things. This leads her to be betrayed and let down easily.
- (overly) Trusting – To go with the above, Fabri will trust anyone until they stab her in the back. Ex-convict? Killed a guy? She’ll trust you. Until you betray her. Then you’ll never get her trust back. It goes with her ‘everyone has a shred of humanity left in them’ ideal.
- Apprehensive – Fabri is quick to anger and easy to offend.
- Honest – Fabri doesn’t like to lie, she says the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Except, of course, when it comes to her family and her name. She’s a bad liar, and hates it.
- Social/friendly – Fabri doesn’t have much trouble making friends. She’s very outgoing and friendly.
- Judgmental – Fabri doesn’t usually act upon it, but she judges people at a glance based on personality, appearance, dress, and even if she’s told it, backstory. She also tends to judge people based on thoughts.
DESCRIPTION
Hair Color: Black and naturally curly, usually restrained in some kind of ponytail (or multiple)
Eye Color: Purple
Scars: Several, as she is a clumsy girl, she winds up injuring herself a lot.
Piercings: Her nose, but she’s letting ti grow over. Too risky to bother with keeping her piercing in when she’s on the run.
Tattoos: One on her back, a tramp stamp she got on a dare.
Looks: Fabri is about 5’7” tall, with long legs useful for shooting basketballs. Before the murders happened, when she had a happy family,. Fabri was always playing basketball with her little brother. She’s very athletic due to that. Fabri has dark colored skin, and a well-developed body. She finds her chest a hindrance so she will bind it when she has time, and her inventory consists of sports bras and tank tops. Fabri does appreciate girly things, like makeup and hair styling, but she simply doesn’t have the time to focus on them.

Family: There’s her, her parents, and her two brothers. Her older brother and she are not on speaking terms—in fact, he’s hunting her. Her younger brother and parents are all locked up in a jail, put away by her elder brother himself. Everyone but the eldest son was gifted. Fabri’s parents were both telepathic, and her little brother could create illusions. Fabri plans to break them out of the jail—sometime.
Pets: She doesn’t have time for that.
Skills:
- Speed, she’s always been a fast runner and quick on her feet
- High pain tolerance – due to injuring herself unintentionally through her life, Fabri is used to pain, and can take a lot and keep pressing forward, especially if she has things to accomplish.

History: Fabri was born to a pretty happy family. They weren’t rich, but they made due. Fabri was the second born. Her older brother, who was 7 when she was born, is the only non-gifted in her family. Fabri, from a young age, was comfortable with her powers because her parents kept no secrets from their children. When Fabri discovered her power, she was ecstatic. Her older brother was jealous, but disguised that emotion with disgust. Of course, Fabri didn’t pay him much mind.
When Fabri’s younger brother was born, Fabri’s elder brother grew even more distant. By that time, he was just entering high school. He got involved in more clubs and was never home. Life went on without him. Fabri and her little brother had always been extremely close. When the youngest’s power was discovered, the eldest displayed an extreme dislike for him.
When the youngest Clark boy hit age 6 and Fabri entered high school, their older brother went to university. Fabri and her brother started playing basketball together, and spending time with him was Fabri’s favorite thing to do.
But soon the murders started happening. The Clark household, who were openly gifted, started receiving glares and being judged, even though they’d done no secret keeping. And one day, Fabri’s elder brother came. He had each of the members of the Clark family arrested. His parents, little brother, and he was waiting for his sister.
But Fabri could read his mind on her way home from school. She ran away. He never caught her, and he’s likely still hunting her. Fabri, of course, only about 16 at the time had panicked and run away. Now she regrets that decision to run away more than anything. She’s since dropped school, since she knew her brother would track her there easily, and became a wonderer. She uses her old school pack to carry her clothing which she took from her old house—a few outfits, not much—and her basketball. She also has a skateboard in there.
When she became 18, Fabri got a solid job at the café. She has her own little apartment, rented under the name Anne Clark. For now, her main focus is making a stable life for herself and avoiding her brother. Then, she’ll focus on locating her family and trying to break them free.
