Sora entered the mall slowly. It was obviously a pretty big mall and there were stores everywhere. He wasn't a big fan of shopping or anything even having to do with that but he thought maybe taking a look around a busy place like this could pass some time.
He glanced at all the shopping areas that held high priced items and about more then half of these things he could probably couldn't afford. High priced clothing, items and jewellery even the food was probably more expensive then usual. It's not like he came here to buy anything anyways so it wasn't much of a big deal.
"God this place is busy..." He muttered quietly to himself. The mall was filled with people who had at least two or more full bags. It was no surprise that most of these people here weren't here like him to just walk around for the hell of it.
He shrugged it off and continued roaming aimlessly around. Things were still catching his eye but he forcefully kept walking but he remained glancing around at the stores.

The mall was neither her favorite place nor her least. It was normally just a place she went to for a bit of fun or just when she felt lonely. The mall was filled with hopeless people filing about in a fashionable or otherwise poorly way. Waltzing around with bags filled with goodies or all sorts. Cold couldn't help but smile at their mundane ways. Cold had a fair amount if money, nothing to brag about really. She wore a white jacket with a regular pair of jeans. Her shirt was just a long red and eye-catching. In her left hand she had a bag of sandwiches and other small food items. Even for a siren, she ate other things too beside flesh.
Walking by herself, Cold brushed past people as she made her way around, only to be stopped by a hand on her shoulder, spinning her around to face a group of three guys. They all had smug little looks on their faces and Cold could just tell that she was in trouble. The first smelled of old beer and tobacco, his words too slurred together for her to make out. She ducked away from the guy, it seemed he wanted to 'hang out'.
Cold didn't bother trying to reason with them. I stead she turned tail and ran. Her body weavin past crowds until she reached the center if the mall. She looked around hopefully for some kind of way to out run them. Her blue eyes caught a small bush, a brown haired boy standing right in front. Waltzing over, Cold looked him over then started, "Don't say anything, please." She said then went in behind the large bush. She pressed her finger to her lips and waited just as the three guys ran over.

He was merely casually walking around then out of the blue he was told to not say a word as a girl hid in some bushes. He cluelessly watched as three guys ran over to the area. What the hell is going on...? That was practically the only thing running through his mind right now. Because right now this to him was absolutely out of the ordinary. He averted his eyes from the bush seeing as if talking was being brought to a stop taking any potential notice of this girl's presence probably was to.
Why was he actually being obedient to a stranger? Well that really had no answer but he did link two and two together that someone hiding in a bush and a bunch of people running in the same direction had to have some connection.
He stood casually by the bush and watched the guys casually as well. They were probably looking around for the girl. Despite this whole situation being completely unknown to him he simply remained quiet. What exactly was he to do anyway? Maybe it was a bit strange to him but he wasn't going to just let these random guys hurt someone who'd done nothing, even though he didn't know that, or her for that matter.
Maybe they'd leave, maybe they'd find her, or they could ask him if he saw her. As far as they were concerned he saw nothing. But if they did see her go in the bush how exactly was this going to play out? Were they really going to start a quarrel or something in a mall?

Cold was grateful for the strangers cooperation, she wasn't in the mood to start something. Winning or not, if the security caught her fighting she'd be sent somewhere most likely, child care or foster homes seeing as she was under the age of 18. And it wouldn't be the first time she'd been caught up in some stupid fight. She watched the boy carefully through narrowed eyes. It seemed that the point had come across his head that she was not to be found. Cold didn't know him and frankly, she didn't think I mattered.
The three men stopped running, seeing as she had suddenly disappeared sucpision lit their eyes. She sunk deeper into the bush, her anxiety sky rocketing as they searched he small area. She'd be found no doubt if something didn't happen. They look in the crowd, one staying beyond as the other two split away to search further. The man glanced at the boy she had asked to stay quiet. She watched as he took a step forward, deciding on whether he should ask him about her. Cold looked frantically around the bush, a couple coins someone had dropped on the tile. Cold took them up and threw them as hard as she could, the change clatterig on the floor and distracting th man. He cursed loudly and took off down the mall. Cold poked her head out, watching as the guy sped off. Convinced he was gone, she stepped out glancing at the boy and smiled. "Thanks a bunch." She was grateful really.

"Your welcome, I didn't really do much.." He shrugged with a small laugh. "Why were those people after you anyways?" He inquired a tad cluelessly. He wasn't very clear on the whole situation but it seemed his obedience and silence had been of great aid to her. The obedience was a tad confusing about why he listened to a stranger but it seemed to be maybe instinct or common sense maybe.
"Anyways, the name's Sora. I'm sort of well not overly new to the area but pretty much haven't been here too long. It's nice to meet you. Also glad I could help. I'd hope someone would help me in a situation like that." He let out another small laugh. "Seems their gone now though. Hopefully it stays that way." He commented as he glanced the way the creeps had went. He shrugged and glanced back at the girl.
"Are you alright though? They seemed pretty determined to find you." He added. Sora would of really loved to of bit them or something that would leave them hurt somehow. Because he was truthfully a tad bit pissed off that idiots like that were causing havoc in such a place. "Hope the security or someone catches them I'd hate to see their faces around here or anywhere else again." He scoffed.

And just like that the guy opened up like a book. He started off with questions about why she was hiding and what her name was. It was a bit overwhelming really. But, she had dealt with things like this before and it came as no surprise when sh answered as truthfully as possible. Why were those people after you? Cold shrugged, glancing around carefully like they were right around the corner, just waiting for her to slip up. She shoved her anxiety away, focusing more on him than them. "Like every other reason I guess. A drunk guy sees a girl and all they can think about is what to do with them." She rubbed the back of her neck, massaging the nape to get out the kinks. "Don't worry though, this wouldn't be the first time." She added, her voice a tad softer and quieter.
The name's Sora. That was a nice name, she'd never heard it before, but it sounded easy to remember. "Cold, nice to meet you." She answered with a honest smirk. Sora was new huh? Now that she looked at him, he seemed new. Untouched by this god forsaken place, still pure. "Eh, I don't really come to the city much. Usually just for a bit of change in scenery." She said not bothering to say she actually lived in a lake.
Are you okay? Cold couldn't help but laugh a little. She laid a hand on his shoulder and smiled brightly, "Well, like I said, this hasn't been the first time. I assure you, I can hold my own." She giggled again and nodded, "But yes, I'm fine." She added with a nod. Cold wasn't really use to treatment like this, guys she met either hated her guts, ignored her completely, or did what her pursuers might have. It was new, being actually polite and smiling. "They'll eventually wander back to the sad little pit they crawled out of." she said waving her hand like it was nothing new.
