He laughed as well as the ball collapsed onto him. When the water splashed back up, Seamus took the particles that had come on the rebound and formed them into a wall of water; joining them with water from the ocean itself. This wave of water he sent right back at her, which he smiled before diving below the water, using his wings to navigate the icy depths.
Sully laughed at the wave rushing towards her. She dove under the water to avoid it and shivered at how cold the water was. She didn't doubt them both getting hypathermia from this. She propelled herself along with her arms and legs. She felt the swirl of water as the wave came down. She popped back up on the surface and looked around. Now where did he go? She laughed and went back under. She saw him swimming along with his wings and frowned. Unfair advantage. She thought with a smile.
He suddenly changed his course, banking right to her direction from which he suddenly surged towards her. What am I doing? This isn't even an attack... The lack of focus caused him to crash into her, propelling them both back up to the surface. Once the two had settled at the top of the water, he looked over and smiled shyly. "Sorry about that...not sure what I was trying to do there..." he said, looking down to the reflective surface in which they floated.
Sully watched as Seamus serged towards her. For a second she was really confuse, and in another second he had plowed into her. She laughed once they were back at the surface. That was fun. She floated on the suface of the water as he talked. "Obviously you were trying to get closer to me." She said in a sarcastic way and laughed. She splashed him with some water then dove under again. This time she swam all the way to the bottom. She sat there holding her breath as she looked up for Seamus. She knew there was a cave around here somewhere, she'd just have to find it before she ran out of breath.
Seamus thought about that for a moment, but her swimming down made him push thataside for the time being. Gathering an large air pocket and submerging it underwater, he followed. The bubble surrounded the two of them, supplying them with oxygen as the walked along the bottom of the water. "Guide the way, this for should last us a little while I think."
Sully rolled her eyes at his air bubble. "I could have done that." She said with a small laugh. She looked around and then walked along the bottom towards where she thought there was a cave and then saw a small entrace. She ducked into it and then come up into a pretty large cave. There was almost a beach at the far end of it, with sand and a few little rocks. She crawled up onto the sand and shook out her hair with a smile on her face. It was much warmer in the cave than in the water because of geothermal and all. She layed back in the sand and sighed. "It's so nice in here." She said.
Jumping from rock to rock, he replied to her first statement as he too made his way to the beach. "If you had wanted to, you would have. But you didn't, so I did." He smiled, thinking to himself as he made the final leap to the sandbar, doing a somersault in the air before landing firmly on the sand. It was strangely warm in here, and he couldn't help if he was perhaps just a tad embarrassed of the whole situation. Not that he would let her get a hold of that notion by any means. But still, she was right, it was very nice in here. So he laid down and looked up at the top of the cave, wondering what she was trying to think but hadn't gotten to yet. He knew as little of her mind as he knew of his it seemed, which in retrospect, is quite a lot.
Sully closed her eyes for a second. She thought back to when she was a kid and frowned. Why was she in here with him? She sat up. This was all stupid. All of it. Her being friends with him, her liking him, her being down here with him. All of it was stupid. She ran her fingers through her hair. She shouldn't be trusting him. He could betray her at any second for all she knew. She could kill her because he knew where she lived. She stood up and walked over to the side of the cave. She was in way over her head. She shouldn't be anywhere near him, ever again. She was basically as far away from him as the cave would allow. She didn't even have her knife because she had taken off her boots. She began a long string of swears as she started to hyperventilate.
He watched her as her thoughts became rapid and her breaths short. It had seemed that she had relapsed into her old self, and she felt confused and in danger. Seamus wasn't sure what all he could really do. "Sully...what's wrong, is everything alright? Talk to me.."
Sully glared at him. "Just shut up." She hissed. Him talking was making it all worse. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She took a deep breath. It was like she was having a mental breakdown. It was a long over due one too. She wished that she had never met him, she would have been just fine never knowing him. There had been good sides to meeting him though. She swore again. Why was all of this so hard? She closed her eyes again. Think rationally. Seamus was nice. Why would he betray her? Because he can. He hasn't yet. But he still could. He is there for you. Then why did he leave me so many times?
He sighed softly and looked over the water. He could see everything she was thinking, and it seemed that the only way that she would reason through this all is if she did it on her own. It killed him that he had to leave those few times. If he hadn't, the cops would have been on his case, trying to bring him in. This allowed him to keep a low profile, and at the same time, he searched for anything linking back to his family, his history. In his searches he found nothing, not even another group of angels. It was if they were all gone...
Sully sighed. She had been doing so well with coping, and now she wasn't/ She frowned at herself. Was she seriously insane now? She had thought she had gone insane a while ago, but then she hadn't. What if she had gone insane. What if the person in front of her wasn't even Seamus. She rolled her eyes and walked back over to him. She sat down beside him and set her head on his shoulder. "You suck." She muttered. All of this was stupid, yes, but he was her only friend and she wasn't just going to throw that all away because she was paranoid.
Seamus hugged her close and smiled softly. "You're not insane, I'm the real Seamus, and yes, I know I suck." His hug held her close as he rubbed her back, trying to soothe her nerves. He figured she might have a reaction such as this, and he too was thinking about a lot of things. But he knew that no matter where his heart went, he would always be her friend and be whatever she needed of him. When it came to the matter of Sully over Mocking, he wasn't entirely sure of who he liked. If she brought it up, he determined he would just go ahead and tell her.
(I've determined that this thread happened before the rooftop murder scene, which happened before he met Mocking to an extended period of time. I'm gonna assume that he had met Mocking at some point, but only for a short time, so he wasn't sure about her at first. I think Seamus has imprinted on Mocking lol, and of course there is another light angel in the mix I think that in the end Sully and Paz will be his closest friends, not sure if much more than that. Of course what happens now is before he begins to really like Mocking so all is fair game.)
Sully sighed and smiled up at him. He really was a good friend. She had to not be so paranoid. She trusted him... kind of. Sully watched some fish swim around and wondered what they were thinking. She shrugged a little bit "What are you thinking?" She aksed him. She didn't have to tell him because he could read her thoughts, but she couldn't read his mind.
(I know, who knows, maybe you can convince Mocking to share lol probably not just kidding. We aren't a utopian society that shares love lol)
When she asked that question, he looked down at her, his fingers lightly rubbing her back. He wasn't sure how to begin on the whole subject. I guess I just have to start somewhere... "Well...to be honest I'm just confused in my emotions right now... Ever since Sky passed, I've had to revisit the concept of affection and love. Ever since I met you, I've always found you attractive with a fun personality...and I've liked that a lot. But then I've also met another light angel, who might be from my home...and so I just don't know what to think anymore..." He sighed silently, closed his eyes, and slowly sat down.
