Sticking Around

[Claw]

Claw scanned the area of the forest below her and saw the other girl, sitting under a tree. Claw landed lighting on a branch above her, shaking some leaves down from the tree. "Hey." she said casually.

"Hello, want an apple?" Christina asked. She grabbed another apple from the tree. She then laid back down after giving the girl the apple.

[Claw]

"So," Claw said, taking a bite of the apple, "what's your name?" she asked and fluttered down next to her.

[Christina Myers]

"My real name is Christina. What's yours?" Christina asked.

(Lazy)

[Claw]

Claw laughed, "My name isn't really a word, or a sound, it's more of a feeling, but you can call me Claw. I suppose that's the closest I'll ever get to putting it into words."

[Lia Pertaje]

Lia walked through the forest, seeing only Christina and Claw. She hadn't met either, which was sad. This moment in your life where you know absolutely nobody, was her moment right now.

Claw saw Lia walking through the forest, "Hey!" she shouted, waving her hand. "That's Lia," she told Christina, "she doesn't speak much English."

"Hello." Christina said. She was still laying down. She was also waving to let her know that she was saying hi.

Lia heard her name being mentioned in a sentence. She hadn't much been around other people, so she decided to try her luck at English.
"Lia."
She said to Christina, motioning to herself.
"Hola."
Li's voice said in a perfect accent.

(i no, didnt want to have to meet all over again though )
"Sit down," she said, motioning on the ground for Lia to sit. Claw flew up a little bit to grab an apple from the tree. "Here," she said giving Lia the apple.

Li took the apple, thanking Claw in the sign language motion. It was the only way to communicate most of the time.

It was nice to be in the shade. Able to relax. Besides, it wouldn't be hard to escape , ven if they were found.

"I hate it when that kind of stuff happens," Claw said, "What happened back there at the cafe. They hate us just for being what we are." she sighed sadly and took another bite of her apple.
