Red ran through a small forest on the mountian top. She was running from a wolf. She willingly jumped off a cliff. Hiding on the edge. She listened, hearing the wolf patter away. She then noticed she had cut her ankle. There was blood and Redlicked it. Until there was nothing. She then jumped up and made her way up the cliff.
"That's disturbing Red, you know that?" A voice said. Allowing her cover to be blown, Kat rose from the shadows cast by the dappled tree. She watched with a pair of colorful teasing eyes as the cat girl licked her ankle. "And I really give u on how you can reach that..." she added, a gentle smirk on her lips. Her ears pricked as the wolf howled a lonesome call. It was it's own damn fault anyways, getiing lost like that, chasing after a feline, what a waste.
"Well I have nothing to wash it with." Red said. She had came to her feet. "You know what some have to do to survive." Red said. She had her right hand on her hip and her left arm striaght.
Kat copied Red's movements and leaned gntly on her side against the trunk, "Are you talking about you, or the wolf?" she asked sounding bored. "You could have killed it if you wished." she added sweetly.
"I didn't want to this time." Red sighed. Now crossing her arms and leaning against a tree. Her ears stayed prick to listen to sound that maybe around them.
"This time?" Kat raised an eyebrow as if in question. But her gaze quickly left her face for her ankle, "In trouble are we?" She asked with a light chuckle. The dark girl sat down, holding out her hand as a small flickering shadow took place, "Let me see. I can hide it from pothers until you can care for it." She said pointing the shadow at Red's ankle. As if by magic, the cut disappeared, not the pain, but just the injury. "You'll have to really drss it later." Kat instructed standing back up to look her friend in the eye. "So have you been?" She asked trying to make more chat than about killing a wolf.
"It is not that much of a deal." Red said. It did bleed, but it was only a scratch. "I haven't been up to much. What have you been up to?" Red asked. She wondered what Kat had done since they had came to Nova City.
She shrugged, "Nothing much. I've sneaked around here and there. It's quite drab if I do say so. But, that's about it....What about you?" she asked sighing as she remembered all those empty days of napping and occasionally scaring away a stray animal. "It's so boring here." she said hopelessly.
