Where two become one (Friendly only)

Alliances, clans, families, mobs, gangs, all of these groups had formed within Nova City; both among the people and the monsters. Most humans banned together to oppose monsters, labeling them as the main threat and the direct cause of the string of murders that had claimed hundreds of lives to this point. Under Claw, a group gathered to defend themselves, through acts of proclaimed "self-defense", and at times ruthless murder; whether to fulfill a need or to declare a point.

But a third group had risen along side these other two. This group though was hidden in the shadows, hidden from public eye as to not draw suspicion or danger into their own lives. This clan consisted of both monsters who opposed death of all species, as well humans, who felt sympathetic to their cause. The leader of this group was lead by Seamus, the brainchild of the entire operation, but also the coordinator of induction and events. As he was able to scan the minds of others, it was easier for him to determine whether the new member really did support the cause, or wanted to be a rat and tear the group apart. A group built on peace is just generally weaker as a matter of history. But not because the strength of the people within the group, but because those in the group decide not to fight, and would rather die themselves then cause more harm to others.

A silly cause this would seem, but still noble in the least as it was viewed by Seamus. The few monsters who supported him just barely outnumbered the valiant and loyal humans that had joined the cause. This made the group small, but it would grow as time passed, finding others to join was a difficult process. Tonight those loyal to the cause gathered at an old junction, abandoned when the subway had been renovated, but still had plenty of room to meet, and was secluded from outside interference.

Tonight the meeting was mostly humans, the monsters hadn't yet arrived , and to be honest Seamus wasn't sure if any would. But these humans had, and that was enough to him. "It's pleasant to see you all here tonight. We've all met at some point or another, some of us longer than others. But as I've met each of you, I have noticed that each of you have something in common; you want to make a difference towards the path of equality. Politics and media would have us believe full out war will be the only way to tame the other side. But each of you have seen the good in us, and elimination to you is a wrong choice. So tonight I welcome you, because it's an honor to be in the same room as you all."

The mouth of the underground caverns could easily hold many people.
Seamus, you snake, dragging me here.
She huffed, remembering being led from the sewer to the cave. She gave back a shove to an earnest man fighting for a spot. It was too crowded, even in the forner where she stood silently. Humans really were gullible for a few kind words, these people fed off hope. She felt for them of course, she supported the group and would act with it. But these people didn't know anything, it was sad. Her eyes glanced up at the boy with wings, the mastermind of the entire thing. She gave another sigh just as somene squished up against her for a bit more room.

Seamus chuckled softly and shook his head quietly. There weren't even that many people in here, maybe twenty at the max. Yet they were still overcrowded, figures of course. But in any case, he hoped that Ash wasn't right. He didn't want them to follow because of what he said, or that this was just a giant rally speech. This was truthfully much more than that, or at least that's what he thought. There wouldn't be much difference than from Claw's group, but their actions would be a lot more subtle, and followed by a lot less bloodshed.

A small boy at around the age of 13 stepped in wearing a scuffed jacket and hat, both in the color of beige. He looked around, he'd saw someone come in, but he didn't expect to find a rally. Green eyes wide he looked around, up ahead a man stood tallest on a large boulder. but his view was blocked as a different man blocked his line of sight, "Hey!" he said, jumping to see over the shoulder that blocked him, but the man only laughed at him. Kenny didn't normally jump at the sign of an event, but who knew, it might be beneficial.

Alex had decided to follow Seamus, and ended up in the sewers. "I hear that there's a new group in town. One with less bloodshed and disorder. I assume the mastermind behind all of this is Seamus, and his second-in-command, Ash. Howeer, I do not know who this kid is" He pointed at Kenny. "Pardon my intrusion, as it seems rude not to apologize to do so. Perhaps you can allow me to join this peaceful group." Knowing that they probably couldn't hear him, he walked closer and tipped his hat as it was his signature greeting. "Hello there, friends. Fancy meeting you here."

Kenny looked at a finger pointing to him, he focused out to see an older black haired boy with a hat. Kenny huffed but didn't say anything out of the sorts as to draw suspicion or anything. He looked at the man and back to the other near the front of the cave, there was also a girl. He followed behind the man,not wanting to miss any information.
A group for what?
He thought curiously, looking at the trio of people. He looked at the man with the hat, "I'm Kenny." he tipped his own hat in an imitation sort a way. He smiled looking at the three.

Seamus smiled and nodded his head towards both of them, smiling lightly. "Welcome Kenny and Alex, and there really isn't anyone in charge unless we all feel there needs to be. I just wanted to gather ourselves, as we find ourselves in a predicament. The humans want to hunt the monsters, which the humans who have joined us feel is wrong. But there are monsters who would go to any length to defend themselves, which the monsters with us feel is wrong as well. We are here now to sharpen each others strengths and skills; to defend all of us from those who wish to harm us. At the same time, we shall work to create equality for all of us. Now," Seamus smiled and withdrew a fencing sword, "who wants a go first?"

[Kenny Price]

Kenny raised a finger as if signaling, "I'll give it go." He said with a flare of determination. He was a human boy, no supernatural powers to help him, well, maybe his unusual sunny output, but that could be anyone. He stepped up calmly, a cool green stare set on Seamus's shoulders and eyes.

[Alex Richardson]

"Names Alex. Charmed, Kenny" This boy is a human! What does he want to do with a bunch of monsters? Alex then unslinged his longbow(bio for weapons) and tossed it to Kenny with some arrows. "Your pretty young. Make yourself useful and shoot some arrows off the walls." Alex smirked. "If you are as good as your bravery in coming here, then enlighten us. The floor is all yours." He wiped away his smirk and stepped back.

[Kenny Price]

Kenny reached uo to vatch the bow along with a few arrows. They were pretty light, couldn't be much harder than a slingshot. "Um, alright." He positioned the longbow, loading it with a pointed arrow, his eyes focused on a stalactite near the back, took a deeo breath and released. The arrow flew over the heads f the crowd to pierce the rock formation without even a small thump, just silence. Kenny looked back at Alex, holding out the bow, "How was that? Was it good?" More than anything, he strived for praise, anything for encouragment.

"Your pretty good, for a human. How about you stretch it out a little farther? Same procedure, just aim higher and relax more." Perhaps we can use him as a sniper or sentry

[Kenny Price]

Kenny nodded and looked out past the mouth of the cave to small sapling tree. He did the same procedure as before and focused even more, he let go and the arrow flew past the crowd once more. The sapling was thwacked in the middle splitting in half right down the middle. Kenny looked back, astonished himself. "Wow!" He breathed with excitement looking from Alex to Seamus and the rest.

"Alright alright that's enough shooting." He took his longbow and arrows away from Kenny. "This is the only pure wooden longbow that I know of. And by pure I mean not like fake wood, but handcarved. Most arre just stone painted for wood, or something."

[Kenny Price]

"Oh well, I'll go get the arrows." He said stepping down and trotting to the arrow in the wall. Plucking it from the stone was a bit harder then he anticipated but the one in the sapling was much better. He was a bit sad about the sapling though. "Sorry." He whispered before running back with the arrows in hand. "Here." He said a bit out of breath.

He took the arrows from him. "Ah its ok. No major damage. Repairable, but expensive. I got the money, so it should be ok"
