Cory sat down on a rock that was hard to see from the stones that stuck out. He could go into town, but she shouldn't trust Phantom. The waves hit the rocks, splashing up water. A few drops hit her face.
Roses That Are White Are Nice Roses That Are Black Are Mean
She remember her mother saying that. Now she was both a White Rose, delicate and sweet... sometimes. A Black Rose, mean and disloyal. She saw birds as they flew through the sky. There was no response from Phantom from the last time her mask came off. Besides, what would Phantom want at the moment? She looked at a small salamender that climbed onto the rock beside her. It laid there doing nothing at all. Just looking out at the sea.

••I Can Be A Gentleman••
••I Can Be A Devil••
He had been feeling better lately from his ailment. He had always had a weak immune system, even as a child. James held his mouth as he coughed lightly into it. His other hand lightly swept over a collection of seashells, as he did each shell appeared as two, a duplicate, a copy. He laughed and picked up the copies, stuffing them into his jacket pockets. A smile plasted on his lips, he had always loved the ocean, the lake, anywhere with a large body of water. He gave a light laugh as he got up, sand falling from his legs as he ran up the shore. A pack of rcks rested up ahead, James wanted to investigate. He got down on his hands and knees, his hadns leading the waya she weaved through the many boulders until he saw something move. It was a salamander, a black shiny back with yellow stripes running down it's back. He smiled wildly, his legs crouching right before he sprang. With cat like precision, he land on the rock, his hands grasped firmly on the salamander, it's wriggling maing him gigle like asmall school boy. "Gotcha now." he said.

Cory got starttled and fell into the water. "Hey! Why can't you leave it alone?" Cory snapped. Her mask gleamed and she could hear a faint laugh from Phantom. He had come back into her mind and he was laughing his head off probaly. Her mask was white and her right eye was red, her left blue. She climbed back onto the rock. She thought that no one came out this far. She wished that they didn't. It got annoying when things like this happened and it ends up being a bad day.

"Huh?" he spun around, the salamander in his palm. Behind him, a brown haired girl sat in the water, a mask hiding one half of her face, but if he looked, he saw a red eyes in comparison to the eblue one. "Hello, need some help? sorry if I startled you." he said letting go of the salamander on the boulder, only, there were two instead of one. It seemed sometimes he couldn't control it. He stepped down from the rock, his feet ankle-deep in the salty water with his hand out, palm skywards. James ruffled his messy blonde hair and looked out at the sun as it said goodbye to the land. It would be dusk soon...

"No!" Cory snapped. She was now on the rock. Still hearing Phantom laughing away. "You look ridiculous!" Phantom laughed. "SHUT UP!" Cory thought. She didn't want to get wet, well not this wet. She only came to watch the waves. Maybe even see a bit of wild life.
The waves, calm, stay calm.
Cory still didn't want to be calm, but she knew that she should. Cory wanted to grab her staff and hit him, but didn't. If she did he would surly get the police and this would mean trouble for Cory. They would question her and possible take her to jail. The last place she wanted to be at right now. Phantom wouldn't help get her out, and Cory needed to get Phantom not to randomly take over. Only when allowed and needed.

He flinched, when people snapped, he didn't retaliate, he backed off. He was a bit cowardly yes, but he'd never minded nor noticed. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled, folding his hands. James was a softy, a big-hearted guy, he was a bit of a prankster when he was in the mood, but he always apologized afterwards. He looked away a bit ashamed and stuffed his outstretched hand in his pocket. He sat down on the boulder crestfallen.

Cory began to sit on the rock again. She hated to get wet when she didn't want to, she also hated Phantom's laughing. Water dripped from her clothes and hair. She wished she could go back to camp, but couldn't risk this guy following her for no reason.

James looked around, hoping to make up for his own mistakes. He'd brought a towel from the lake as well as his big backpack filled with snack and water. He spotted the black bag sitting by a palmetto in the shade of a tall cliff. He glanced back at the girl and walked over to the bag, snatching up to open it and retrieve the towel. He smiled again, holding out as he waled back, careful not to disturb the water enough to make a splash. "Here, use this. Can I say sorry?" he asked hopefully. James smirked faintly.

"No, it is fine, I have to go home." Cory said. No longer wanted to be here. She began to climb up the coast and onto the grass. Besides, Maxean could be at camp looking for her.

[Y U NO ACCEPT HIS KINDNESS?!?!]
"Can I at least give you a towel? Or walk with you? Please, my camp's on the way." he said looking down at the unaccepted cloth. He put both hands on it and pulled, suddenly, one became two and he tried to hand it to her again. "Just give me your name alright? I gave you mine, it's only right." He was a persistent little bug that was for sure. He didn't take no for a answer, even if he was sad for the moment. Plus, James disliked being alone when it was almost nighttime.

(She is mean and stubborn and all of that stuff so I DON'T ACCEPTED! -Evil Laugh-)
"Cory and I don't have to be esscorted." Cory said. She already had Phantom who loved to fight. The laughing stopped and Phantom was quiet. She kept walking towards the forrest.

"Well I won't, escort me half way then." he said with a smile. He didn't know when to give up! He followed after her a few feet back, his hands behind him and a kick in his step.

James flinched again, looking away quickly, "Cause I want to, I hate being alone. I'm ill, I'm 18, alone on my own, and lost, what do you think? My brother is gone and I have no past, no future, it's only me." he explained. He looked down at the darkening ground, his hands tighteing around one another.

Cory was now getting frusterated. She now heard Phantom laughing again. He would be no help at all. Phantom always laughed in ironny. Unless if it was him in trouble.
