Flippy almost wasn't able to handle the smell of the bacon sizzling on the pan he was making them off of, along with pancakes, toast, hash browns and even sausage, making sure to get the fruit ready when he was done. The radio was on, but at a low volume since it was still early in the morning and his fiancé was still sleeping. Damn. He never thought he'd be saying that word about someone. Maybe that's why he was in such a good mood.
Flippy wasn't sure what radio staton was on, but he knew the song that was playing, called 'Hold on till May' by Pierce the Veil. He loved that song, and even sang along to it, but softly to minimize the boise he was making. His voice was actually not that bad at all, even Flaky's said that to him, but he was still self conscious about it.
"...I only said it 'cause I know what it's like to feel... Burned out
It gets you down,
We've all been there sometimes
But tonight I'll make you feel beautiful once again."
Flippy finished the bacon and added it to the table of food set out, making sure there was more than enough for two people but enough that they could still eat on the table. Than he set out the drinks and the fruit, and washed and put away the supplies he used as if nothing had happened, leaving the kitchen nice and clean. The food would stay hot for a while, so he wouldn't mind waiting, yet at the same time he wanted to see her when she woke up.
Flippy walked upstairs and opened the door to their room, just a little bit so he wouldn't wake her. Flaky was still asleep. The young man crawled into their bed and hugged his fiancé snug around the waist kissing her cheek in an attempt to wake her up as gentle as he could.
