History: Yui's first name was Estellise, also known as, "Estelle" but she changed it after being titled an orphan with her big brother, Alec M'Crae. It was as if they were starting over by changing their names and being orphans. But, it's not like they wanted to be orphans. Let's start at the beginning, shall we? Yui and Crae grew up in a very loving family. When Crae was 5, he was kidnapped by strangers. Yui prayed day and night, hoping that her brother would come home safe and sound. Crae's sister was very upset when their parents didn't take Crae. Why? Why didn't they take him home with Yui? Yui refused to go back home, so their parents left her with Crae. The two siblings were put into the same orphanage, but it wasn't too long before Crae was put into an asylum. That's how they were separated. Yui was adopted by a lovely couple, and they made her feel right at home at first. The couple broke up a few months later and the girlfriend kept Yui. She got a new boyfriend, and her boyfriend was a child molester. The boyfriend was mostly interested in Yui. He would beat her to death and then rape her whenever he could. Yui finally built up the courage to tell her foster mother about what her new boyfriend was doing to her. Her foster mother didn't believe her and she even questioned her boyfriend about it. He said that Yui was lying. Yui's foster mother beat Yui for telling such lies, and then Yui finally ran away. She lived out on the streets and sang for people, so she could get some money for food. Yui stole money from people, because she wasn't getting enough from the people that liked her singing. She managed to make friends with a wolf that protected her from getting eaten by a demon. Ever since then, the wolf had never left her side... not once. The wolf really cared about her. Yui traveled with her companion, searching for her brother. She asked everyone about him and found out that he was living in a mental institution. Hopefully, he's still there today, so Yui won't have to travel any farther.
