Solitude [open]

Seamus returned with his collection and dropped the wood on the floor of the cave while shaking off the frost that had collected on him. He had heard every one of her thoughts, which made him smile. I DO have a chance...no way...this could be great news...but why the sudden change in heart? He kept his thoughts to himself as he took a seat back down and began to rip up strips from his shirt. "Do you want to know the reason I care so much? The reason I give a care about a light-turned-dark angel?"

[Mocking Bird]

Mocking Bird rolled her eyes. His head is in the clouds, I don't give a damn about him. Mocking Bird thought. "I don't give a damn." Mocking Bird growled. She just thought that he fell for someone too easily. Then she looked the other way, ever so silently, as if made of stone.

"Well I'm going to tell you anyway, because I feel you should know," he began. "I was born into a village of light angels a long time ago. But sometime before I turned three, my village was attacked, and everyone was killed except for me and this old man. He took me in and trained me until he died. Since that point, I've spent my life to defending those in danger as taught by him, as well as searching far and wide for another light angel. I thought our race was extinct, until I met you. This has given me hope. And this is why I gave you that jacket yesterday." Seamus had finished his arm brace by the time he finished, but as for his wing, well he was going to need to help with that.

[Mocking Bird]

"You think I care, why do you think I am a dark angel." Mocking growled. She got up and went back out side, sitting under a tree and not paying attention to him. It was cold, but she didn't care, she liked solitude, having no friends. I still don't see why, I was abandoned by the Light Angels and The Dark Lord raised me like his own. Mocking Bird thought.

[Paz Marrin]

Paz was soaring through the sky. Her dark blue wings spread wide. Jupiter flying in front of her. She was freezing. She needed to get a nice place to sleep or even just to stay for a while. Jupiter was leading the way so that they could get there faster. When Jupiter saw the other two angels he smiled and then swooped down to them. Paz followed him. She didn't know that the angels were there.

She landed in the cave and tucked in her wings. She then heard the voices. Her finger started twitching as she walked towards them. Maybe she'd meet somebody she could be friends with. She nodded. Or somebody who she'd have to stop from doing something mean. Who knows maybe they were bad. Then she heard all the talk about angels. She slowed her pace and frowned. What if they were angels. "Hello?" She called into the cave.

Seamus turned and watched Paz walk in just after Mocking had left. He didn't watch for long, as he was frustrated that she had walked out. He just wanted her to understand...that's all he needed... His left fist hit the wall in frustration, his right wing still dangling and dragging on the ground.

[Mocking Bird]

Mocking Bird looked up to see another angel, by the looks of it a dark angel, she ignored, but she honestly thought that the angel was going to hurt Seamus and she almost thought of it as good. Mocking Bird began to walk through the forest where she would be happy for a while, she couldn't leave Seamus, she still couldn't get blamed if he died. Then after going far inside the forest something grabbed her by the shoulders, as most would react Mocking Bird screamed. Then she heard a familiar voice. "I got you now, the others are scared, but I am not, your going to jail." The women growled. Mocking Bird struggled, but the women, her being a cop had to strong of a grip.

Weak was the sound of the cop, but nevertheless he heard everything from both persons. She may have blamed herself if he died, but he had no such intentions. He ignored his wing and ran out of the cave, grabbing Paz's shoulder. "Please, come help me." Seamus held only had a guess of where she was, but that hadn't stopped him before. He ran after her, dodging through the trees, catching up before the cop had a chance to escape with Mocking.

Paz got dragged around by Seamus, but she wasn't going to say no to helping anybody. She sent Jupiter ahead to slow down the cops. Paz flapped her dark wings a couple of times and then started flying as fast as she could after Jupiter. Paz got there in a matter of seconds and saw the woman with the dark angel. Paz knew that angel. She dropped down and landed behind the woman. Paz kicked the woman's feet out from under her. Paz nodded the the angel girl. She probably had no idea of who Paz was, but Paz had learned enough about her from the time she had spent as a dark angel.

[Mocking Bird]

Mocking's wings flapped and soon she was flying, she was mad from what this women had done several times trying to caught her. "Your one of those cops who think all are bad it seems." Mocking Bird growled. She flew a ways away, having a feeling she would be found by Seamus and Paz.

Seamus lagged his way down the side of the mountain, only to realize that the fight was more uneventful than it had seemed. But he knew they weren't going to give up until they had someone. He knew what he had to do: turn himself in. He charged forward and stopped infront of the female leader. "Stop, everyone stop!" he directed towards Paz and Mocking. "I will come with you if you allow the other two to go free. I know what you want me for. So take me, leave these two for now." His voice was pleading, and he knew their plan was to use him for the cop advantage, but that was worth it for their freedom.

Paz was about to go after Mocking, but then she heard Seamus offer himself to the police. She turned around with a frown on her face. "No way." She said as she walked up to him. She tucked her wings away so that they couldn't be seen. "I know your superior and if you take any of us away then I'll tell him to fire you!" Paz stated. Her eyes were a dark blue instead of their normal sky blue. "I am the person who decides who goes to jail from the monsters and let me tell you, if you take these people away then I'll fire you myself." Pax was being deadly serious. She was very high up in the system for the police so if they fired her then they'd have a big problem, but this woman was disposable.

[Mocking Bird]

The women laughed. "You decided, I am the police I decide." The women was insane it seemed to Mocking Bird, so she wanted to change her plans about anyone going to jail. Just to piss her off that little bit.

"Or it can be none." Mocking Bird said darkly. Soon shadows raised and grabbed her and soon Mocking Bird sent her shadows once again away holding only the women. Then Mocking flew off, not wanting to deal with them, she couldn't look like she was going soft, she was really just protecting herself. She was near the mountains, when she saw it near the top, out of view of Nova City, the house, there was a small pathway for humans, but it was beautiful. She landed at the door and went inside, it was even furnished, she liked it here, but she knew she would have to stay in the cave until Seamus left. "Damn it, I could be warm, but that guy had to get hurt." Mocking growled to herself. She flew to the lake, just wanting to be alone as she touched the cold water with her figure tips.

Seamus nodded to both angels of dark wings, accepting that they had this covered. He nodded to Paz in thanks, and before he could thank Mocking, she was gone. This caused him sadness, but he accepted it, knowing why she felt as she did. He decided not to head to the cave, but instead to the city, hoping that eventually he could find a friendly vet. He uses his power to tuck his wing under his jacket, to make him less noticeable. Just to let Mocking be free and not worrying about him any longer, he spoke to her mind one last time. "Please, go to your new home, I am positive it will be very warm for your stay. I am going into the city to my residence. I thank you for taking care of me last night. I shall see you around hopefully..." With that, he left through the dense forest.

And then Paz was left alone with Jupiter. She had no idea what she was going to do. Paz remembered that Seamus's wing had looked pretty messed up. Maybe she should go after him and try to help. She frowned and looked around. Finally she just went after Seamus. She caught up easily. "Hey. Are you okay you look pretty hurt." She said as she came to a halt beside him.
