Against popular belief that girl that lived on a roof, yeah she can read. She actually liked to read. So...yeah. Sully was taking a day off of worrying about super natural stuff like her being witch and just taking a day to relax. What was more relaxing than a library? She walked up the steps and pushed open a door. She looked around for a second, trying to decide what to read. She had no idea. She walked over the fiction section and picked up a murder myster. She sighed and put it back down. She then picked up an edventure book. Better than the murder book at least. She walked over to a table and sat down.
Sully wondered absentmindedly where Seamus was, and if he was getting himself in trouble. She didn't doubt it. Not bad trouble though, more like messing with bad people trouble. Sully couldn't say anything against him though because she did the smae thing. She thumped her head against the table. It felt like a pillow at her level of being tired. She sighed and picked up the book. She leaned back in her chair and flipped to the first page. She heard the door open and footsteps come towards her. Was she in trouble for some reason?

Damon sat at the same table, facing Sully. although, he did have a book propped up in front of his face, so it would have been easy to miss him. He had been in that exact spot for hours, engulfed in a story he had begun reading. Reading had always been one of Damon's favorite pass times. Even in his childhood, when his father would call for him in a drunken fit, no doubt to use his pain as amusement, Damon would hide in his small bedroom, a closet actually, and read the same few books over and over again. He liked to pretend that his situation didn't exist, and all that did were the worlds in which he read about. It helped make his troubling life easier to deal with. And even now, long after he ran away from his past, he still found immeasurable comfort in reading a novel.
Damon didn't like talking in a library, and even frowned upon it when other people did, so when he set the book down to look at who had sat across from him, he wouldn't have spoken, but it seemed no one was anywhere near where they sat. Even the librarian was far in the other corner of the library. Plus, this girl didn't seem as if she had really gotten into her book yet. "What are you reading?" He asked softly, with his thick English accent. His voice sounded so calm to him, almost creepy, though he did not think of himself as a creepy person. He stared at the girl expectantly with his red eyes, which looked so misplaced with his pale skin, and awaited a reply.

The voice made Sully look up. Her narrowed eyes looking a man over. He looked about her age with red eyes and pale skin. She hesitated at his question. Was it some sort of a trick? He was creepy, but then again more and more people were murders so creepy wasn't that bad. Sully blinked her green eyes once and put down her book. "I have no idea, some sort of edventure." She stated with a blank expression. She watched his movements to make sure he wasn't about to attack her. Maybe she was a little paranoid, but one could never be too careful.
Sully looked at his book. He had seemed pretty into it maybe it was a good book. Her eyes flicked back up to his face. He was quite handsome actually. Did Sully care about that though? Nope. She sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. How had she missed the days when she was running from rooftops and not caring about other people. Suddenly the room felt really small. She pushed her chair back and stood up. She took a deep breath and tried to relax. She couldn't freak out now. She looked back at the guy again. She sighed and sat down again. "Sorry." She muttered.

Damon shrugged dismissively, as if to say,I don't mind, then went back to his book. After a minute, he put the book down again and glanced back toward the girl. "My apologies," he nearly whispered. "I haven't introduced myself. I'm Damon." With that, he held out his hand to her, smiling kindly. " Damon O'leary."

Sully got in a few more minutes of quiet reading time before she heard the same voice again. The boy. She looked up at him and saw that he was saying something about his name. His hand was stretched toward her, clearly for a handshake. Sully eyed it suspiciously then looked back at him. "I'm Sully. Pleasure to meet you Mr. O'learly." She said i n a monotone without shaking his hand. He could be a person with powers, making it a possible threat to Sully's health for her to touch him. She always had her knife in her boot if it came down to it though. Silly sighed again. She really couldn't relax could she? She shook his hand finally and forced a smile. She didn't want to seem like some phobiac who had a fear of touching people. That wouldn't be a good reputation.

Damon was surprised by Sully's delayed response to his hand, but he kept the smile on his face as he waited. When she took it, he shook it then let it go, sitting back down. She was suspicious of him. That much was obvious to Damon, as he had gotten particularly used to suspicious looks from people over the last 180 years. At the thought of his age, he involuntarily ran his tongue over a particular spot on his teeth. The place where his fangs appeared when he became... Thirsty. He hated the word, for it made the awful part of his "condition" seem like nothing. It was not nothing to him. "You seem, ahh... Tense?" He said that in a questioning way, obviously asking her to explain."Everything all right?"

The air became silent again and Sully was about to pick up her book again when the guy talked. At the word tense Sully frowned. She supposed she really couldn't relax around strangers. "It's silly." She muttered. Her reason for being do tense just happened to not be him, but to be her nerves. Lately she had good days and bad days. Bad days consisted of her being snappy and on edge, like now, and good days was her on rooftops, smiling and happy. Why wasn't she on a roof now? That was way more relaxing that a library, well to her anyways. Other people might freak out at it. She narrowed her eyes at him once again. "Why do you care? Should I be worried for your sanity? People don't care about me so you shouldn't worry. I'm fine." Her lie was quite convincing and she almost believed it herself.

(~Lazy~)
"I'm sorry for asking," Damon Responded, still with that unnervingly calm voice he used, especially in situations like this."You just don't seem as if you're happy to be here. That's all."He finished, choosing his words slowly and carefully. He looked back down, as if nothing had happened and read his book for a minute. Without looking up, he muttered,"I didn't wish to offend you."

Sorry? What kind of mind games was this kid playing? Sully sighed. She was officially freaking out and not the "walls are closing in on me," kind of freaking out the kind where you think everybody's out for your neck kind of freaking out. "I-I'm sorry. You're right I'm not happy I'm here. I'm not used to being inside buildings and I'm not sure what I was thinking when I thought this would be relaxing." Sully muttered and shook her head. Why was she still here? The conversation maybe. Screw that she was getting out of this building. She felt like she was going to be shot. She stood up abruptly and walked over to the bookcase she had gotten the book. Quickly her fingers tapped the books then she placed the book she had been reading back in its spot. She walked back to Damon and dipped her head. "I should be going." She said and starte to head for the door. Who knows, maybe he'd follow.

Damon was not one to impede on people's business. In fact, he despised anyone who did. Yet something about the way Sully acted indoors made him curious as to how she was outdoors. "Sorry," He started,"But if you don't mind my asking, where are you going?" He stood up after her and put his book away as well, then began to follow her, so that he would be able to hear her answer. For the worst case scenario, he prepared for another outburst of anger at his curiosity, but he truly hoped that didn't happen.

Sully hear the chair scrape backwards and te footsteps start. Yep, he was following. Where was she going? That sounded like an insanely creepy question and Sully was hesitant to answer it. She supposed it couldn't hurt. The worst he could do was try to kill her -try- it wasn't likely for him to succeed if that was his plan and if that was his plan then she would just haul him away to jail. She shrugged. "I'm probably going to attempt to climb the highest building in Nova City. Haven't quite gotten to the top yet, I either fall or the police make me come down. She explained. She got in quite a few feuds with the authorities. They didn't like her and she didn't like them, but she needed them for money and they needed her to catch the people they couldn't. Sully threw a smile over her shoulder. "Try to keep up.

Damon smiled brightly and followed Sully out of the library with a skip in his step. This sounded like it was about to become extremely dangerous. This was the cause of his smile of course. He laughed when she asked him to keep up, thinking immediately of the fastest speed he had been able to run, on a dirt road just outside the city a few years ago with his incredible speed (one of the few perks of being a vampire). He had gotten to 270 Miles per hour. It had been one of the most exhilarating moments of his life."Don't worry," He smirked. " I'll keep up.

Sully started running. Her hair whipped behind her and she nearly lost her hat, but somehow it stayed on her head. She jumped a fence with ease. A dog was in the yard, but she ran right past it and before it could even get close to her she had jumped the next fence. She ran across a street, not waiting for cars and into an alley. She swerved a corner and then a brick wall was in her path. It seemed to be a dead end, but really this was Sully's way out. Her fingers grabbed the slight crack in between two bricks and pulled herself up. It was like Rick climbing, but harder. She was fast too. It wasn't slow it was more, look grab pull, all in one motion. She got to the top of the building and turned around with her legs dangling over the side. She peered over the edge to see how Daman was getting along. Or if he needed help. She giggled at the idea.

Damon kept a steady pace with Sully, careful to mirror her movement's closely. When they crossed the street, he had to hurdle a passing car that had just missed her. When she climbed up the wall, he bounded up it with her , finding holes for his feet and hands as he went. It was as if time slowed down for him. He had more time to find places to climb, and in reality it looked like he was a spider. When Sully looked back he was just in front of her, so he tapped her on the shoulder, smiling brightly. "That was fun!'

[Don't feel like changing accounts, deal with it, I'm lazy.]
Sully realized that Damon was already right beside her. That set off some alarms in her head. The only person who had ever beaten, or even matched, her climbing speed was Seamus, and he wasn't exactly normal. "So what are you?" She asked calmly. She remembered her promiss to Seamus and resisted reaching for her knife. There was no fooling her any longer. She was aware this guy wasn't normal so he must have powers or something else along those lines. It had been a test in Sully's eyes and right now was the final exam. He lied, she got mad, he told the truth more questions were in his future. Even she wasn't as normal as he thought she was. Witch wasn't normal was it?
