Honest ;; Yukari is very honest, which is kind of bad and good for her. At least you'll know that she's the kind of person that will tell a story like it is and not sugarcoat it. But, her being honest can be very harsh. She will tell you the truth, even if the truth hurts your feelings. This girl doesn't care if she hurts your feelings because the truth is the truth. She's just telling it like it is.
Tsundere-like attitude ;; Tsundere - a Japanese character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing his or her warm side over time.
Innocent ;; As you already know, Yukari is very cold and hostile towards others. If you manage to get on her good side, she might show you her real self. Her real self is very similar to any ordinary fourteen year old girl. Never judge a book by its cover. The tough personality she uses to hide her real self is just a cover.
Loyal ;; It will take a lot, but her loyalty is quite astounding if you make it on her friend list, which is very rarely. Yukari will take a bullet, grenade, knife, or anything else that can harm her loved ones. She would do anything to protect her friends, even if it means putting her life on the line for them.
Hostile ;; Yukari isn't the most approachable person. It will take a lot to get on her good side especially if you're a person that treats others like dirt. You might think that she treats people like dirt, but she doesn't. She has a good reason for acting cold towards others.
Headstrong ;; Once her mind is set on a high goal or something, there's no changing it. No matter what you say, she won't change her decision.
Masochist ;; Yukari cuts herself very often, and she has cut herself so many times that she is used to the feeling of a dagger cutting into her arms. For some reason, she fights the urge to scream in pleasure whenever she cuts herself. It's like she is trying to keep herself from showing any signs of pleasure. Like she wants to stop herself from cutting herself just because of how good it feels.
Looks: Her calm and bright yellow eyes give her the image of a person that is determined, shy, and lonely; all of which are true. When you look into her yellow eyes, it seems like you're cast under a spell. Yukari has that effect on tons of people since her eyes are like telling you interesting stories. It's like you can never look away from her because of that lonely look in her eyes. It makes you want to be around her more often, and get to know her so she won't be so lonely. Her most striking feature is her long, purple hair that reaches all the way past her waist in the back. Her purple hair is purple from the top and halfway, it fades to orange. I guess you can say her hair is naturally curly. Yukari rarely puts her hair up in a ponytail or anything like that. She likes her hair down, and there are times where she braids her hair into a single braid. She stands five feet and five inches tall, but her petite frame can sometimes make her appear smaller than she is. Her slim waist gives her a few decent curves and her bust is average. She weighs one-hundred pounds, which is pretty light for her age. Her clothing style is down to earth and sometimes she'll wear lolita dresses.
History: Yukari was born on September 30th, to parents Hanako Sakurazawa and Rei Ibuki. She was the only child of the household, which kind of made her lonely. People complain about their siblings’ everyday, but they should be lucky to have a sibling or siblings. There are so many things you can discuss with your sibling that you can't even talk to your parents about. Siblings play with each other sometimes, but Yukari had to play all by herself. She was desperate for a big brother because she thought big brothers were fascinating for some reason. But, she honestly didn't care what she got stuck with as long as she had someone to talk to. Yukari was homeschooled and then later on when she turned ten, her parents decided to let her go to a public school.
Being the new kid kind of sucked for Yukari. When everyone found out what she was, they stayed away from her and some students made fun of her odd hair color. Honestly, it was her natural hair color, yet none of them believed her. They just laughed at her and gave her a very hard time. One day, Yukari got sick and tired of all the pointing and laughing, so she took matters into her own hands. She took her dagger out and attacked one of the popular girls that called her all kinds of inappropriate names. Damn! That girl was only ten years old, and she already had a bad mouth. Yukari jumped from school to school, yet none of them wanted her because of her violent behavior towards the students. Her parents were fighting ever since Yukari was born, and their arguments got worse by the minute.
It got so bad that they threatened to kill each other. Yukari sat in a corner in her room, trying to block out all of the screaming and cussing by putting her hands on her ears. She was hoping it would all just go away, but it wouldn't. The girl dropped out of school for a few months, and then she decided to go back to school. She was in middle school at the time, and she ended up falling in love with the student council president, Kazuma Yamamoto. The two dated for quite a while and then it seemed like nothing great was going to happen in Yukari's life after that night..... Kazuma and Yukari were just hanging out at his place, and they were in his room watching TV together. Kazuma couldn't keep his eyes off of her, so he went ahead and told her why he invited her over that night.
Yukari was shocked to hear him say that he wanted to make love to her, and they were only thirteen! She thought he was crazy, and Kazuma made sure she wasn't leaving until he got what he wanted. They wrestled around with each other until Kazuma managed to knock her out. She didn't know how he knocked her out because her memories were a bit foggy after that. While Yukari was passed out, Kazuma chained her to the bed and began to fuck her. When Yukari woke up the next morning, she was laying beside Kazuma without any clothes on. Yukari said that it was definitely over for the two of them, and she left Kazuma's house in tears. Yukari told her friends about what happened, and then Kazuma told the exact opposite of her story. He was telling everyone that she forced him into having sex with her, and everyone believed him.
It was probably because he was the student council president, and he had billions of fans. Her friends turned on her and went to join Kazuma's side, so she was all alone....... again. Students continued to make fun of her, and they called her a slut and stuff like that. It was just a terrible nightmare. Yukari finally snapped, and she brought a M1911 Colt Government pistol to school. She shot any student that made fun of her, and the whole school was on lockdown because of her. She laughed like some kind of possessed little girl, and she went around destroying pretty much everything in that school. Eventually, she got caught by the police after she ran out of the school. They decided to take her to an insane asylum since she had been like that for quite a while.
It wasn't just the students that made her pissed off. The arguments her parents had made her furious, so that's how she developed her violent behavior. Yukari lived two years in an insane asylum, and she met a girl named Helena. The two girls were kind of similar, but different in many ways. One day, Helena showed Yukari the daggers she snuck into the asylum. The two girls cut themselves, and Yukari asked Helena when she would cut her wrist to where she would die. Helena said that she would get there one day. The next day, Helena never woke up nor did she ever breathe again. Yukari felt like Helena's death was her fault, and she's still feeling guilty about what happened to her best friend. Helena was her only true friend, so she meant a lot to Yukari.
Yukari got out of the insane asylum not long after Helena died, which made her feel even worse. She promised that they would get out of that hellhole together, but she came out alone and not with Helena. Yukari moved to a city named Nova City, hoping to start a new life there as a fifteen year old nature freak masochist......
Likes: Bringing pain to herself, hitting people with her frying pan, nature, playing Hide-and-Seek, playing Tag, the violin, being alone, and rainy days.
Dislikes: Easy targets, suicide, happy-go-lucky people, people that act like they understand her when they don't, flirty boys(she refers to them as 'dogs in heat'.), cheerleaders, and waking up early in the morning.
