Personality:
Cold: The first impression that Allen gives usually isn't a good one. He's not much of a socialite, and as a result is usually colder and more indifferent towards people he doesn't know.
Quiet: As already mentioned, Allen isn't the most social human being. It shouldn't be surprising to anybody knowing this fact that he isn't very talkative either. If you're stuck in a room with him and he doesn't know you very well, don't expect him to go out of his way to talk to you. He only talks to most people if he has to.
Loyal: He shows his true face to the few people that tolerate him. He doesn't have many friends, but he cherishes them and is always willing to help them with their problems and endeavors. It isn't that easy of a task to break his shell, however.
Dilligent: Allen is serious when it comes to work. When there is a task set before him, he will see it through to the end, be that task homework, a boss fight or his job he will let nothing distract him from completing that task.
Tech Smart: Growing up with technology gave him a profound interest in computers. His father helped him further develop that interest by giving him a job at the family owned computer repair store. As a result, he has the skills to fix a computer and quite a bit of programming know-how as well.
Looks:
Allen is rather skinny, being that he isn't one to go outside that often. Adding on to that fact, he only weighs 120 Lbs, which isn't much for a college student his age. His height of 5'6" is also lackluster; he isn't short, but isn't tall either.
His hair is dark brown, and is about down to his chin, and his eyes are a lighter shade of brown. His face often bears a serious expression, making most that see him believe he is angry about something at all hours of the day. He can't see very well without them, so he is always wearing his glasses.
History:
Allen grew up surrounded by technology. His father, the owner of a computer repair store, taught him everything he needed to know at an early age, fueling Allen's keen interest in computers.
By the age of 10 he could put together a computer, and by 13, could code simple games in a variety of languages. Video games were a favorite past time of his as a child, serving as an escape from childhood bullies that picked on "nerds" like himself. It was these bullies that influenced him to distance himself from others, preferring solitude to crowds. Of course, he still made friends in middle school with fellow tech enthusiasts and "nerds".
At the age of 18, Allen went off to college out of city, majoring in computer science and learning more about computer programming, hoping to secure a career as a developer in the future. After two semesters, he returned to his hometown to find that mysterious murders were happening left and right, causing paranoia and disorder.
Likes:
Computers/Technology: This shouldn't be surprising. He grew up with technology, of course he likes it! Like with his glasses, he is never seen without his laptop.
Peace and Quiet: Allen is a solitary person, so he prefers the tranquility that comes with being alone to the loudness that's usually present in crowds.
Books: Allen isn't always stuffing his face in his laptop's monitor. When he feels like, he likes to unwind by just reading. You'll see him at the public library every so often.
Dislikes:
Loud, Obnoxious People: Allen is one who likes his peace and quiet, so it isn't unlike him to dislike people who are annoying and talk too loudly or much. If you're an energetic or talkative person, don't expect him to take a liking to you.
Slow Internet: As an avid computer user, latency and slow internet speed are two of his worst enemies. He especially hates slow internet if he's torrenting or is trying to play a game.
Fighting: Despite being a bit of a jerk at times, Allen detests violence. He isn't one to jump into fights, and he isn't one to start them. He prefers to settle things with words.
Skills:
Computers: He knows his way inside and out of computers, and is fairly savvy with most handheld electronics too. He's your guy if you need your computer fixed.
Research: Allen knows his way around the library and internets, so he can handle the boring part of projects or look something in depth for you.

Determination: Once he has his mind set on something, he's going to work tirelessly towards that something.
Self-Control: Allen knows when to keep his mouth shut, and knows when to not let his emotions get in the way of things.

Fighting (In)Ability: If human beings were objects in nature, Allen would be a twig. His skinny frame isn't going to help much in fights.
Shyness: He usually isn't able to speak out to large crowds, which is one reason he tends to avoid them. Don't expect him to voice his feelings often either.
