Stumbling (o)

[Red]

Red ran, but her wounds opened more from running so far. She fell onto the ground. She had a lot of deep wounds from the shooting. She was sitting, but she couldn't stand. She laid down and looked at the sky. It hurt too much to walk, and if she did suck it up and do so it would only make the wounds bigger. "I am stranded." Red whispered. She had gloves and was willing to use her arms and drag her legs, but who knows what would infect her wounds.

[Jasper Crescent]

Jasper was not that far away. He had sucked away a man's soul since he was so close to death, when he smelled blood. "Mm 2 in a day." He whispered, and pulled out his scythe. Jasper walked over to Red, and tilted his head. "Ah a monster who is in pain. Nothing makes me feel better inside than someone close to the brink of death. Tell me." Jasper used the tip of his scythe to pin her down. "What are you, and how do you wish to die?" Jasper's eyes flashed as he waited impatiently for her reaction.

[Red]

"I don't wish to die at all. I can get up I chose not to." Red snapped. She got to Her feet, sucking up the pain. Now she was going to be running. She was too injuried to fight. She ran, almost falling over. She then fell again. SHe decided to try something. Her legs were much to injuried for her to run. She had never done it before. She tried to walk on her hand. Her arm weren't as injured. She fell.

[Jasper Crescent]

Jasper laughed at her. "What a pity. The poor monster can't walk. Shame that monsters aren't as tough as I thought. But you, my darling, are so close to death" He taunted. Jasper then melted into the ground, and a shadow appeared beside her. He materialized and lifted her head up. "Tsk tsk. Don't try to act brave, little girl. It won't get you anywhere." He smirked and melted again. He appeared in front of her, with a cold stare. "I bet you wish you had your mommy now. Now let's make this easy. Or we can make a wager. Your choice"

[Red]

"Shut up!" Red snapped. She could see the top odf the tree. Her way to get away. She ran, even with the intense pain. She jumped andgrabbed a branch, then climbed up. "I am not dying today." Red said She swang her arms and used the branches. Now she wouldn't have to use her legs.

[Jasper Crescent]

"A fiesty monster with no intention of saving her life." He muttered and dissolved into the ground. A black shadow then followed Red, and he then appeared under her. He used his scythe to cut off the firm branches, and then hooked onto her leg. Literally. The tip of his scythe came into contact her skin, and blood dripped.

[Red]

Red grabbed her knife. She tried to fight. "I can survive." Red said. She unhooked her leg. She kept running until a river came into view. Her fear. It was either the river or certain death. She dived in egtting sweeped by the river she held her breath and was in a ball.

[Jasper Crescent]

Jasper laughed and watched her getting swept away. "I'll make a deal with you girly." HHe yelled after her. "You get to keep your soul, in exchange for anothers!" He then jumped into the river himself, and, with his scythe by his side, eventually caught up to her. He hooked her by the shirt and they both dissolved in black particles. They then appeared on the other side of the river, and he unhooked her. "I don't like my kills wet. Ruins the purpose." He bent down, and then touched her shoulder. A skull was then imprinted on there, like a tatoo. "This is a tracker. Now you can either get healed, and slowly die, or exchange your soul for anothers." A shadow cage then rose from the ground, trapping her. Slowly, the cage shrank and would eventually crush her.

[Red]

Red pulled herself up. She needed to get to the cave now. It was her only hope to survive. She got up standing. She ripped some of her pant legs to make it so her wounds would stop bleeding.She was tired. She just dove into a river. "The slower is better. Then I can survive. I survived falling into a river when I was 8 I can survive this." Red said. She began to walk into the forest. She decided to find some herbs and try to heal her wounds.

[Jasper Crescent]

"Shame. I was just starting to like you." He then did what all Reapers could do: He lifted off of the ground and flew over the river and landed beside her. He then placed his hands firmly near her backside, and sucked in part of her soul. The one with the knowledge of names, being a monster, and combat. When he was finished, Jasper then laughed as his hair darkened and his eyes brightened with the new half-soul.

[Red]

"Then you can help me." Red said. She didn't mind this guy. She just didn't like the fact that he wanted to kill her. She most of the time didn't like many people other then Kat and Nathan.

[Jasper Crescent]

"Even after I suck half your soul, you still have bonds with Kat and Nathan. So consider this Death's Chance." Her wounds then healed and her leg fixed. "Don't get cocky"

[Red]

"Let me guess, I have to help you to get the rest of my soul back?" Red guessed. SHe had noticed she was healed. "Did you just heal me?" Red asked.

[Jasper Crescent]

"Yes, in fact you do. 3 Trials. I like to call them the Trials of Death. But the third will be the hardest." He grinned at the thought of the 3rd trial. "But that's only if you agree. And yes, I dd heal you. I am a minion of death, Red. I know all names, and I can heal or kill"

[Red]

"Fine. Also what are these trials anyways?" Red asked. She rather go through the trails then get killed. "Also what is your name?" Red asked.
