Hiding from myself

Rena ran out of the cafe she was so mixed up so she did what she does best, climb. So she found the highest building that she could find and stayed up there for hours trying to figure herself out. It was like she had a connection with this place but she had never been there before.

After awhile on the roof she became lonely, she couldn't stop herself from thinking of her sisters. She had failed them and she was ashamed of herself for that. So she decided to get off the roof and stop failing life. For them... no one else.

There was a faint sound of scurrying feet behind her at a small distance. Alec has been sitting up here for a while, and when the girl showed up out of no where he easily for threatened. The noise his shoes made almost seemed rodent-like, and so was his attitude. Curious yet afraid, quick but insteady, thoughtful yet clueless, and without a word to speak at all. The young, insane man peeked around a small pillar, his eyes wide and bloodshot from his recent doses of medication which is wrecking his body by the minute. His teeth were clamped onto his bottom lip which matched his ready-to-run stance. One wrong move and he could hurl himself off the building.

Rena was on her way down to the ground when suddenly she had seen a man peak from behind a small pillar. As she started at that spot where the man was, frantically thinking of how she didn't hear him earlier. So then she only had two choices run past him like she had never noticed him or start to chat and tell him all the worries she had. She rolled her eyes at the thought of the second idea and decided to go with the second one and run. So with her sneaky cat skills she took off around the corner as soon as she saw the man she stopped. She knew how he felt confused and probably on drugs cause his eyes she had been there before after her sisters got taken away from her. As she stood there staring into the mans eyes she felt a warm tear come down her face. So with that she quickly wiped away the tear hoping the man didn't see it she sat down beside him. With the strongest voice she had left she said "Hi I'm Rena."
