What if the Storm Ends? [p/Flaky]

[Flippy]

Indeed there was a storm. It was brutal and it's been going on for two days strait. Power lines were cut and the only form of communication he had was an old cord phone he didnt really know how to use. It was One of those with that little turny thing you used to use to dial back in the 1950s or whatever. It was slow and annoying, so he didn't bother trying. But his cell-phone was dead now so he didn't have much of a choice to use it to call someone.
Flippy had the blinds closed and all windows shut and all doors locked. He hated this. It felt like imprisonment since it was too brutal to even step outside. He missed people, especially Flaky. Their relationship wasn't going that well right now. It was just a huge fight about something Flippy kept from her that he really shouldn't have, and that pretty much wrecked them. He wanted her to call, but she didnt. She must still be really mad and he was scared to call her. What if when they see eachother again, after the storm, and everything was different? There could be no more FlippyxFlaky, and it's the last thing he wanted. Flippy wanted to fix this. And that's what he did. Flippy picked up the phone and figured out how to dial a number of the phone. It took a while, but he got Flaky's home phone number down. Now all he could do was hope she'd pick up. Flippy sat on the couch, hunched over with the phone to his ear. Please pick up... he thought.

The thing is, she didn't live far from where Flippy did and that made it harder for her to not cross paths with him on her way home. Flaky sat in her room and a stream of tears ran down her cheeks because of the thunder and lightning. It was odd, but you could tell she was still in love with Flippy whenever lightning stroke and she'd scream his name, hoping he'd come and protect her. The wolf was afraid of thunder and lightning so this was pretty much the only time she wished Flippy was with her. It was bad enough that she was losing him and now, she had to face her fears alone. She heard the house phone ring and she sat in a dark corner, clutching the phone close to her chest and almost crushing it into a million peices just by holding it tightly. She waited before she looked to see who it was and her heart began to ache more when she noticed that it was Flippy trying to call her. Flaky pressed the "Talk" button and put the phone up to her ear and said, "Flippy.... Why are you calling me?"

Flippy's heart skipped a beat when she answered. Her voice was uneasy as if something was wrong. Well, more than just being upset. She was scared... "Lorelei..." he said softly, chocking up on his own words. his hand shook a little as he gripped onto the phone, his other hand running his fingers through his green hair. "I'm so sorry... I'm so so so sorry... I don't even know why I didn't tell you in the first place... Im such an idiot. It's all my fault." he wasn't expecting forgiveness, even though it's what he wanted badly. Even when she questioned his reasons for calling her he wasn't sure how this would end.

"Liar! You just keep on making up lies, one after the other!" she snapped, throwing the phone across the room at the wall. The phone was severely damaged because of how much strength she put into that throw. Lorelei stared at the broken phone and she crawled over to it, she picked up the phone that was broken into peices and she whimpered lowly. She sat there in the middle of her room with her knees tucked in to her chest as she stared at the remaining peices of the phone. Apparently he didn't trust me enough to tell me right when he got the chance to. Flippy... you idiot! You keep on acting weird around me and I don't like it! I just want you to be yourself, even if your insane self is revealed.... I love both you and your insane self. If only she could say that to him without thinking about throwing a book at him or something.... She loved him more than she loved her parents... and he just had to lie to her like that. It just got her pissed off that her boyfriend didn't trust her and they've been together for as long as she can remember.

[Flippy]

"Wait! Lo-" he cut himself off when he heard the phone hit the wall, and the line was cut when the phone shattered. His hand was shaking and he put the phone back onto it's holder. He was so close to crying now but he hasn't given up yet. All it takes is one lie to break the trust between two people. And since he made that stupid decision to lie to her she refused to talk to him. Flippy picked up the phone and dialed her number again. But this time she didn't pick up. He called four more times after that. Nothing. He gave up on the phone thing and took this to deapeate measures. Flippy put on a pair of black boots and didn't bother with a jacket. He hesitantly opened the door to his house and stepped outside, already drenched with rain. Flippy stormed down the sidewalk, snatching a bunch of flowers from some ladys lawn. They were pretty so maybe that would help. He covered the flowers carefully to keep them from getting damaged as he ran to Flaky's house. He walked up to her front door which wasn't covered by any roof and knocked loudly on it so she could hear. "Lorelei! Open up! Please..."

Lorelei yipped when she heard Flippy's voice and her body began to shake in fear. "G-Go away!!!" she yelled at him and growled when Flippy would not stop knocking on the door. She sighed and rose to her feet, she walked out of her room and downstairs, walking to the front door. She took a deep breath before she opened the door, staring at him and narrowing her eyes. Lightning crashed and she jumped, shivering again in fear. The girl grabbed his wrist and quickly pulled him into the house, slamming the door shut. The house was pretty dark because of how miserable she had been, she refused to see the sunlight again. She was cooped up in her house for many days, sulking about her boyfriend, Flippy. Honestly, she didn't know what they were anymore and they have never had a fight like this before so it broke her heart some more. She loved Flippy a lot and she would always count on him to pick up the billion peices of her shattered heart, but, it was different this time. Lorelei whimpered and she was so upset with him that she couldn't even look at him right now, she kept on looking to the side and glancing back at him. "Are you going to hit me now? I don't understand why you kept this from me. I would've been fine with it if you just told me the truth instead of hiding it. Couples aren't suppose to keep secrets from each other so why? Why did you hide it? You know that I love you... I love you more than I love my parents! And, you go behind my back and do this to me......"

Flippy was soaking wet, dripping all over the mat on the door. He was panting a little, tired from running in the rain. But he was able to preserve the flowers, which he held out to her. "I would never hit you." he said to her, his voice a little shaky. "I know, Lorelei... And I made the biggest mistake of my life, lying to you like that. It was a lot for me to take in I was afraid to tell you. I dont know why but i should have told you as fast as I could. It's all my fault please baby I'm sorry!" she wouldn't even look at him. No response. He let out a long sigh. This wasn't going to work. And it was all his fault. "You know what..." he began, placing the flowers on the floor. His eyes were faded into a dark, depressing shade, adding on to his mood. "You don't want to talk to me. That's fine I'll leave you alone for now on..." Flippy couldn't do this anymore. Flaky Probably wanted nothing to do with him, and he didn't want to aggregate her more. He opened the door again, slowly walking out of her house. "Bye." he didn't have the strength to say he loved her. Something didn't feel right about saying that right now. Flippy closed the door and his hands were shoved in his pockets, tears streaming down his cheeks. "She's done with me." he insisted to himself, walking down the street.

Her eyes widened and she reached out to grab his hand, but she missed it. The thunder roared even louder and she jumped when lightning stroke again. The girl stood there, shivering in fear and she bent down and picked up the flower. She buried her nose in them and drank in the sweet scent coming from the beautiful flowers. It hurt her when Flippy said that he was going to leave her alone, which meant that he didn't want to see her again. Lorelei cried even harder before until she was hyperventilating. She took a deep breath to stop herself from hyperventilating and she quickly ran outside, looking left and right. When she spotted Flippy, she screamed his name and ran towards him, tackling him down to the ground. It also hurt her to stay mad at him for more than a few seconds and she just couldn't forgive herself. The redhead fell on top of Flippy and she kissed him all over, missing the feeling of being in his arms and listening to him whisper comforting words in one of her ears. "Flippy! Please.... don't leave me! I was stupid to overreact like that. Even when I was mad at you, I didn't even think about dumping you because I love you too much to even think about letting you go. I love you, Flippy! I'm so sorry for putting you in so much pain. Please forgive me..." she trailed off and laid there on top of him, gazing into his eyes so he would know that she was telling the truth.

Flippy nearly had a heartattack when Flaky came out of nowhere and tackled him to the ground. He didn't hear her call his name since the thunder drowned our we voice. He thought he was being mugged so he tried to squirm off until his vision was clear and Flaky was kissing his face ontop of him, which made him relieved him in more ways than one. After her unnecessary pleads, well, unnecessary since it felt more like Flippy's fault, he gave her a strong hug, burying his face in her neck. "Don't take the blame for this, please." he whispered smiling when she said she loved him. "I love you too. I never stopped loving you~" Flippy got her and himself on their feet and wrapped her arms around her waist and kissed her deeply. He didnt take any mind to the storm still violently raging on. He bet people were looking at them through their windows thinking ther insane. Whatever. Their relationship was already romantically insane from the start, which is why they were so perfect for eachother.

She shivered slightly when Flippy buried his face into her neck and her cheeks immediately turned red. She thought he was going to kiss her neck and then they would end up making out, but he just put his face there. She smiled as she hugged him, putting her right hand on the back of his head and patting it softly. The wolf girl was very happy that Flippy never stopped loving her and she missed those three words. I love you. The storm was still raging on and on, but she wasn't scared anymore because she tuned out the thunder and lightning so she could focus on Flippy. If Flippy ever let her go then she would freak out whenever lightning strikes. She just felt safe in Flippy's arms, knowing that he would protect her no matter what. Lorelei kissed him passionately and she closed her yellow eyes, pulling him closer to where there was no space between them. She wrapped her arms around his neck and let the kiss linger for maybe a minute.... but then she broke the kiss after 30 seconds so she could get some air. She had to work on holding her breath longer than that so her and Flippy won't have to stop to get some air, but she liked having breaks from kissing so she could gaze into Flippy's charming green eyes. "Okay~ I forgive you. But, I'm sorry I was being so harsh to you! I missed you so much, Flippy!" she cried and hugged him tightly.

Words couldn't describe his happiness right now. The entire storm was just pushed out of his mind during the lingering kiss. His arms were wrapped securely around her waist, keeping them close together. "No, you don't had to be sorry. Really! You should have been mad like that. Honestly." Flippy kissed her forehead, his hands rubbing her back. "I hope this never happens again. I almost lost you I can't offered to loose you." Flippy brought his lips down to hers and kissed them softly, letting the kiss linger again. Suddenly a crash of lightning game, lighting up the whole sky in white. It made him jump. He looked at her awkwardly, embarassed sour how frightened he got. "Hehe... We should get inside..."

"I feel the same! I don't want to lose you, Flippy. You mean a lot to me and I could never live my life without you." She was serious that she couldn't live her life without him. She would be watching romantic shows, eating ice cream all day, and crying her eyes out. Or, she'll just sulk in a corner and think about Flippy all day long. She noticed Flippy jump and she blinked, looking up at him. "Flippy... Are you okay?" Unlike her, Flippy was probably scared of lightning like any human would be, but Flaky was scared of both thunder and lightning. Flaky smiled and took his hand, walking back over to her house and opening the door so they could walk inside. She lead him into the house and closed the door behind him, locking it and she had a devious grin on her face. "S-So, what now, Flippy? Do you want to watch a movie or something?" The grin disappeared when she didn't bother inviting him into her bedroom to have some..... fun with him.

Flippy walked into her house, his body shaking a little. He was cold and wet. Hopefully he didn't get sick... He walked a few feet into the house and took off his soaking wet boots and put them on the shoe mat. His cheeks were flushed in pink from how cold it was as if it was midwinter. Hair hair was stuck to his face, ringing around his eyes so he was still able to see. He caught her smirk before it faded and after she asked her question he walked close to her and held her right, his lips against her forehead. "Whatever you want, baby." he replied with a smooth voice, a little cheery smile on his lips.

"Flippy, I'm cold." Flaky got closer to him to where their bodies touched. She closed her eyes and stood there in his arms, trying to get warm by pressing her body against his. She shivered and it was pretty obvious that Flippy was making her even more cold than she already was. "S-So cold..." This isn't working! I'm just making myself colder because Flippy's body is cold too. Her cheeks turned red when an idea popped in her head, but she wasn't sure if he would actually agree to doing that with her. "Um.. Flippy? Maybe we should t-take our clothes off and hold each other close so we can get warm. I mean, if that's what you want! I just thought it could help us get warm."

[Flippy]

Flippy wouldn't refuse. He was shaking anyway. And it's proven to actually help keep you warm. "For sure before I freeze to death." he replied, backing up a little to take off his black hoodie. The hoodie was so wet he was actually able to ring some water out over the sink. "That's lovely..." he muttered to himself. Walking back to Flaky who we still freezing her butt off, he held a concerned look. "I hope you dont get sick..." he said to her, peeling off her top for her. He held her forehead to his, holding her tight. "Better?" he asked with a a faint voice, kissing her forehead.
