So there she sat, a 17 year old girl with her head in her hands. She was so confused, so lost, what had happened? Rain drenched her rehab clothes right through and chilled her pale skin, blonde hair fell into her face blocking her face from anyone's view. She remembered as the staff members dragged away her roommate, soon after wards a nurse came in, blood dripping from her mouth. She had been gagged and passed out after wards. But not before the nurse explained so much to her. "I'm no monster....." "Your something more than a human Ash! Don't forget it! You are a phoenix, a bird! You must learn it!" Ash was her name; her name was Ash Starla Greyson, no more, no less. She was a hum- no, she was a phoenix, she was a monster....
The blonde girl sat in a park bench as she lapsed into another fit of tears. So much had gone wrong! She was almost ready to go back! Back to where?! Ash paused, back to where? She didn't know.... The reason she was in there was.....She didn't know that either.. They had told her she was sick, they told her she could back when she was better, it had been 1 year since then. Ash ceased the tears and clenched her fists, "I don't know what's real anymore..." she mumbled.

A man with a hat shielding his eyes from the sun noticed Ash sitting there, nearly to tears. He walked over to her and patted her back. He sat down next to her, and asked, "Are you ok? I just saw you over here, and felt that I should comfort you. Is there something wrong?" Inside, he was thinking about wrecking havoc, but thought against it to cheer her up." He then sniffed the air. There was another monster. Smelled like a bird, but with a hint of burnt ash. Couldit be a phoenix? Alex sniffed her. So she was a phoenix. "Are you by any chance, a phoenix? If you are, that's ok because I'm a griffin"

(Thanks for joining me )
Ash stopped, she flinched with each time a hand patted her back. This boy, was he a monster too? She stopped the tears and smiled, a trick pulled only too easily, the staff never learned it and she doubted neither could he. "I'm fine. Really, it's no problem I appreciate the help." she said with a light voice. Ash was hurting though on the inside, everything ached! She had poorly dressed bandages on her arms, blood seeping through the white cotton, she hid them, folding them against her chest. Are you by any chance, a phoenix? If you are, that's ok because I'm a griffin. Ash looked up, her grey eyes clouded, "I don't know, am I?" she ignored the last part. Griffin or not, a person was a person, if he killed her, oh well, it couldn't be helped. It might even be better....

(Anything for a fellow rper His eyes then looked at her arm before she put it away. "You don't look ok. Do you need to go to a hospital?" He stopped patting her back, seeing how it inflicted pain onto her. "You are. Why are you hiding it? Are you afraid? " He took off his hat and placed it on her head. "Well first thing's first. You need to go to the hospital"

He stopped patting her back and he told her they were going to the hospital. That couldn't happen. She gaped her eyes wide, "NO! I mean, you can't do that! The rehab center will find me, they'll take me back!" she said clenching her fists. Ash looked down to the concrete sidewalk and closed her eyes, "I thought I was human....I can't remember anything before the rehab center. They told me I was sick and that I could leave when I was better. But a nurse with fangs told me I was a phoenix, so I doubt your wrong. But I mustn't go back." she said looking back at him pleading.
Claw growled as the rain started pounding down on her back. She couldn't fly in this rain, it was way to heavy. she dived down and pulled up right before she hit the ground, and landed somewhat gently. She started to run towards the trees when she heard him, that guy from next door, or that used to by next door. She ran over to him, trying to shield her eyes from the rain. "Hey," she said, "this is the first time I've seen you in human form." That's when she noticed the other person, and she quickly tucked her tail under her shirt and hid her ears. This other person didn't really smell like a human, but she did it anyway, just in case. "Who's this?" she asked, gesturing to the girl.

"How did you know it was me?" He grinned. "This is........................ well I don't know her name, but she's a phoenix. I was about to take her to the hospital, when she refused." Alex then looked at Ash. "Don't worry. Claw here is a demon, so we both will protect you, just until you finish healing" He stared Ash down, and finally said, "But you have to trust us. We're here to help. And we haven't betrayed anyone." He paused, and resaid, "Well I haven't anyways."
Claw smiled playfully, "Is that an accusastion?" she asked jokingly. "And I heard your voice, that's how I found you. You talk a lot, you're not that hard to find." She turned to the girl, "And I agree with you, let's not go to the hospital, they would recognize her and take her back. We should just see if Agenta is around here and ask her to help you. Also, I'm not a demon, I'm just a monster, like you guys, Rose is a demon." She showed her tail and ears again, and grinned brightly, showing her sharp fangs. She wanted this girl to to know what she was.

Alex nodded. "Ok. That makes what I said pointless, but its for the better." When claw said that he talked a lot, he looked back to when he did, and surprisingly realized that he did talk a lot. "Who's Agenta? Is she that other girl that was with you during the prison breakout? Ash. Can you turn into a phoenix? If so, then we could just wander/fly around looking for Agenta."

She stayed silent but she listened. At least they wouldn't go to the hospital, if it was her choice she would have just let her arms be, they would heal on there own. Ash looked at Claw and her fangs, it wasn't all that scary to say the least. "Nice to meet you." she said with a nod. Turn into a phoenix "Are you crazy? I've never tried, but maybe." she said shrugging. She stood up shakily, and concentrated. How does this work now? Ash thought hard about being a phoenix, the hot burning sensation of her fiery wings, the feel of flight and soft touch of feather. Slowly, but surely, she grew, her skin replaced by feathers. "How's this?" she asked them spreading black wings. Funny, phoenixes were supposed to be red, she was black.
Claw grinned and spread her wings, flapping them a couple times. "Awesome." she said, flying always make traveling a lot easier, unless it was rain, which it was. She sighed, her grin diminishing. "But I don't think we can fly in this rain. We're just gonna have to walk, but I guess it would give us a chance to run into the others,it would be good for you to meet some of the other monsters." She folded her wings back together, sliding them under the slits in her shirt. "I also put a group of monsters together so they could all meet each other and help each other if they get caught, so we could probably call another meeting to introduce you and any of the other monsters they haven't met yet." she turned to the guy. "Like you, they haven't met you, you haven't even told me your name yet."

"Not as red as I imagined, but it will do." Alex nodded when Claw told her about her group. "I'm apart of it." When Claw asked for his name again, he gave her the same answer, "Names don't matter. Just call me Cellmate, for now." He stood up, and quickly bowed to both. "So let's get going, shall we?"
Claw glared at him, crossing her arms. "I agree with you on the virtue that names aren't important, but I would not want to call you something that reminds me of that time, tell me what other people know you as. I told you and it's really only fair that you tell me."

Ash shook her head and grew back into the human shape. The griffin boy refused to say his name and it seemed that Claw and them were going to a group. She smiled and looked over at Claw, "If he refuses to say his name, why don't you make one up? Like Griffin, it seems to fit." she suggested pointedly. Her grey eyes were shielded from the rain as her hand blocked most of it out. She started walking down the street, it seemed they weren't going anywhere.
Seamus chuckled softly and swooped down, landing next to the group and retracting his wings back into his body. "You guys don't like to fly in the rain? I always thought it made things more fun." He smiled softly, then noticed both Alex, who he hadn't really met before, and this new girl, which he had never seen at all. Either way, he crossed his arm across his body and took a bow. "It's a pleasure to meet you both, I'm sure I missed all the introductions, but I'm Seamus, a light angel. So did you guys have any plans as of yet?"
